Senator Markowski approves last week s minutes, seconded by all, (motion passes V. Reports a. Speaker i. The Chair informs fellow students of SG s awareness to the student bodies concerns regarding the nature preserve. SG does not support the placement of any building on the nature preserve and agrees that the construction for intermural sports should be placed elsewhere. SG is committed to stand by the student body. There is nothing set in stone over the construction it is only a proposal. There is an alternative locations next to the stadium lot 7. ii. town hall meeting will held either on Monday or Wednesday with the Vice resident of Student ffairs and the CFO in GC 150 (SG chambers). There will be an open mic for students to voice their opinion while acting accordingly. n will be sent out to every student with the exact time and day the Town Hall meeting will occur. Students will also be able to find the time and date of the Town Hall meeting on SG s Facebook and Instagram and The Beacon. iii. Breakfast at the Housing Quads is this Thursday from 9:30am-11:30am senators are to interact with students. iv. Tomorrow, March 1 st, a Town Hall meeting will be held in the ngineering Campus at 1:30pm, pizza will be provided.

3 v. SG represented FIU in ew Orleans this past weekend, an incubator for students to be able to interact with others and patent their ideas was discussed. This will bring companies to FIU and invest in the ideas of students. b. Speaker ro c. Chief of Staff d. xecutive Report i. Scheduling the Town Hall meeting for next week is in the works. ii. There will be an outline made of the procedures to be taken during the Town Hall meeting, iii. iv budgets has been reviewed and approved. report from Business Service regarding the success of the Housing Shuttle will be coming soon. Town Hall event is tomorrow, March 1 st in the second pit from 1:30pm-2:30pm. VIII. nnouncements i. March 23 rd there will be an engineering showcase in the Breezeway, students will be displaying their projects.

8 IX. ii. Senator Markowski informs senators that if they would like to continue with their position in SG despite the fact they have received two unexcused absences to please speak with him. iii. Last Info Session is Thursday 3 rd in GC at 11:30, not attending an info session will be an automatic disqualification for candidates. iv. Test results for the housing ballots are soon to come v. Tabling for the voting occurring on pril 5 th and 6 th will be done in mid-march. vi. There are campaigns currently pending, if students did not get the all clear they can t be promoting anyone. vii. The Legislative branch has ten days to validate from the RIT. The hearing for the RIT is public and will be scheduled if the RIT gets validated. viii. Hack ton doodle was sent out to senate and cabinet, it will occur on March 4 th 4:00pm-6:00pm till Sunday 12:00 pm, senators are advised to participate. djournment i.
