The Winner Resource Center started in October of In the last 20 years, they have helped many abused and neglected women and children. They also have a 24/7 Crisis line. Mrs. Flakus said they appreciated the Commissioners providing the office in the Courthouse. The Commissioners will be going over the budget requests in July. Kaye Bolton, Landowner, came to the meeting to complain about all the nuisance garbage being dumped on the Township road. Mrs. Bolton wanted to know who was responsible. The Commissioners said since it was a Township road it is their responsibility. Mrs. Bolton has been cleaning it up after the parties that take place and wondered if the Sheriff could frequently patrol that area. Mr. Pettit said it would be best if she called in when the incidents were happening. Brian King came to the meeting to show the Commissioners he has paid all his back taxes. Janeice Weber, DOE, came to the meeting to ask permission to attend a Sales Ratio Workshop in Pierre, SD on June 18 along with her Deputy Sherry Rohde. Forgey made the motion, seconded by Schroeder, to authorize the necessary expenses for Janeice Weber, DOE and Sherry Rohde, Deputy DOE, to attend a Sales Ratio Workshop in Pierre, SD on June 18, The office will remain open that day as the parttime help will remain in the office. Roger Sund, Highway Superintendent, came to the meeting to give his report. Discussion was held on the bids for the 2019 Highway supplies that were opened at the meeting on May 22, Forgey made the motion, seconded by Winter, to accept the bid from Country Pride for oil and grease; Western Construction, Inc for gravel crushing; Ed Dostal Construction for Dirt work; Nagel Construction, Inc. for work in Unorganized Townships. The crews have graveled two miles on Project 42; bladed roads; put in a new approach on Project 43; patched gravel on Project 40; repaired wingwall on Bridge # ; unplugged a culvert due to a beaver dam, on Project 6388; graveled three miles on Project 54; and noted crews are no longer pulling shoulders but will start mowing Fuel quotes were requested for E-10 Gasoline. Quotes were received as follows:

3 1. Country Pride Coop Unleaded E-10 $2.637 per gallon Littau made the motion, seconded by Winter, to approve the quote from Country Pride Coop. Roll Call: All ayes. Motion carried. Littau made the motion, seconded by Forgey, to give the Chairman permission to sign a Release of Reclamation Liability on the Hellman Pit. Mr. Sund asked the Commissioners if they wanted to bid on the Heese and Serr gravel pit and the Commissioners said yes. Isaiah Curtis came to the meeting to discuss selling gravel to the Commissioners. Mr. Sund said it was tested and was ok to use. The Commissioners will buy approximately 7,500 Ton at $6.50 per ton crushed at ¾ inch. Mr. Curtis will bring a contract to the next meeting, June 26, At 10:50 A.M. the RFQ decision was made. Connot made the motion, seconded by Littau, to reject the RFQ submitted by the CTS Group. Littau made the motion, seconded by Winter, to adopt the following: RESOLUTION ( ): Be it Resolved by the Tripp County Board of Commissioners to hereby extend the Joint Cooperative Agreement with District III Association of Local Governments for the program year January 1 through December 31, 2019, and Further Be it Resolved Tripp County will obligate financial support in the amount of $14, Dated at Winner, South Dakota this 12th day of June, Eric Connot Curtis Littau Clifford Schroeder Daniel Forgey Roll call: Ayes: Winter, Connot, Littau, Schroeder and Forgey. Nays: None. Resolution adopted. Cathy Mayes, Main Gate Counseling Director, came to the meeting to discuss the 2019 Budget and explained all the services they provide to the Community. As of today, they are serving 480 clients. The Commissioners said they will consider their request when the budget is discussed in July. A Plat of Lot 1of the Preslicka First Subdivision located in the NW ¼ of Section 14, T99N, R75W of the 5 th P.M. was presented for the approval of the Board. Littau made the motion, seconded by Connot, to adopt the following: RESOLUTION ( ): WHEREAS, the plat of the above described property has been executed according to statute, now therefore; BE IT RESOLVED that the County Commission, in and for Tripp County, does hereby approve the said PLAT of LOT 1 Preslicka First Subdivision located in the NW ¼ of Section 14, T99N, R75W of the 5 th P.M.. Connot made a motion, seconded by Littau, to have a Property sale in the Community Room at 10:00 A.M. on July 10, before the regular Commissioner meeting, and give the Auditor permission to advertise the properties to be sold. Brad Wilson, SDML Worker s Compensation Fund Administrator, came to the meeting to thank the Commissioners for being a 15-year member and presented the Commissioners with a plaque. At 11:28 A.M. Littau made the motion, seconded by Forgey, to enter into Executive session to discuss a personnel issue pursuant to SDCL (1). 340 Dan Bechtold, Winner Advocate, left during executive session. At 11:43 A.M. Littau made the motion, seconded by Winter, to return to regular session. The Commissioners thanked Mr. Wilson for coming and presenting the plaque. Forgey made the motion, seconded by Schroeder, to approve the budgeted transfers from the General Fund: 201- Road and Bridge Fund $350, Fund $16, Littau made the motion, seconded by Schroeder, to change the September meeting to the 4 th and 18 th due to budget approval and Mr. Littau s absence on September 25 th.
