Hamm Auditorium at 600 Farrish Street, Madison, Illinois in said District on the twentieth day of August, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. Celena Browley arrived at 6:02 pm Public Input None Union President(s) Union President Joe Carrington expressed that the staff was happy to return for another school year and that they look forward to working with the board. Personnel Issues It was moved by Vauters, seconded by Buckels that the Board of Education accept the resignation of Long Elementary Kenyota Gregory effective July 22, 2015; Roll call: Buckels, aye; Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye; Briggs, aye. It was moved by Vauters, seconded by Briggs that the Board of Education accept the resignation of Long Elementary Jennifer Homann effective July 31, 2015; Roll call: Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye; Briggs, aye; Buckels, aye. It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Vauters that the Board of Education accept the resignation of Long Elementary Kathryn Gallagher effective August 28, 2015; It was moved by Vauters, seconded by Briggs that the Board of Education accept the resignation of School Nurse Linda Elliott effective July 20, 2015; It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Briggs that the Board of Education approve to employ Tracy Green as District School Nurse effective the school year; It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Browley that the Board of Education approve to employ Travares Young as High School Parparo effective the school year; Roll call: Briggs, aye; Browley, aye; Buckels, aye; Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye.

4 It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Briggs that the Board of Education approve the FMLA leave request of High School Cook Shirley Crain beginning 8/10/2015 and ending 10/16/2015 for medical reasons; Action Considerations, Discussion Items and Information Items None Policy and Procedure It was moved by Vauters, seconded by Buckels that the Board of Education approve the appointment of Barney Mundorf, David Mannix, and Shawn McLain of Guin, Martin and Mundorf as Madison CUSD#12 Student Expulsion Hearing Officers for the school year; Roll call: Briggs, aye; Browley, aye; Buckels, aye; Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye. It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Briggs that the Board of Education approve the High School Fundraiser Request to benefit the Jr/Sr Prom; School Store throughout the school year Roll call: Browley, aye; Buckels, aye; Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye; Briggs, aye. Finance It was moved by Buckels, seconded by Browley that the Board of Education approve the Tentative Budget for the school year; Roll call: Buckels, aye; Gardner, aye; Nelson, aye; Vauters, aye; Briggs, aye; Browley, aye.

5 Executive Session It was moved by Browley, seconded by Buckels that the Board of Education go into Executive Session at 6:12 pm for the following reasons; 1. Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of a specific employee or office of the public body, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1); 2. Student disciplinary cases; pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9); and 3. Pending or probable litigation against, affecting or on behalf of the public body, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11).
