2 October 7, 2015 Student Focus SunGard is the manufacturer of CFISD s Student Information Software (SIS) and the gradebook. SunGard has also produced a new mobile app, SunGard Family Mobile App, that allows students and parents to view important information, such as: Grades, Assignments, and Daily Grades, on their mobile device, cell phone or tablet. When Apple s release of their IOs 9 version of the operating system, this new app did not work properly on Apple device (iphone and ipads). Late Tuesday night October 6, 2015, Apple published SunGard s update to the Family Mobile App that corrected the issues with iphones using the latest version of the operating system. This problem only existed on iphones and ipads that had upgraded to the IOs 9 operating system. It did not affect versions IOs 8 and below or any Droid powered devices. The timing of this release coincides with CFISD s first report cards for the school the year. Secondary schools report cards (middle and high schools, grades 6-12) will be available in the Family App by the end of the week, while parents will not receive the paper report card in the mail until the end of next week.
