Location: Highland Country Club. October 6th - Chamber monthly board meeting. 5:30pm, Chamber Office. October 8th- World Wide Hollerin' Festival. Location: Paradise Acres, 1965 John McMillian Road, Hope Mills. Time: 10am - 6pm. Cost: $3. Children get in free!

October 15th- Hope Mills Ole Mill Days. Location: Municipal Ball Field, Hope Mills. Time: 10am-6pm. October 15th- WKML/ HMACC 2016 Chili Cook Off. Location: Municipal Ball Field, Hope Mills. Time: 10am until chili runs out. Cost: $5 to sample all chili and vote for People's Choice award. $4 for a bowl of chili. To enter your chili: $15.00 October 25th - Hope Mills Kiwanis Meeting, Location- Micasita Hope Mills Time- 5:30pm, Public is Welcomed October 26th- Methodist University's Board of Visitors Golf & Tennis Tournament. Location: Methodist University Golf Course "Downback". Time: Shotgun start at noon. October 27th- CenturyLink Tri-Chamber Business After Hours. Location: CenturyLink, 5115 Morganton Rd, Fayetteville Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm October 28th- Trunk or Treat at the Swamp. Location: Swamp Dogs' Stadium. Time: 5:30pm- 7:30pm. October 31st- Trunk or Treat Location: Hope Mills Municipal Park. Save the Dates December 15th- HMACC Christmas Open House MEMBERS ONLY - Bring your business cards to the Monthly Luncheon and your business could be the Business of the Month. The Business will appear on the HMACC website and our Newsletter. You will also receive a FREE Business Card Size Ad in the Sandspur. The recipient will be honored at our next luncheon with a plaque and picture in the Sandspur.

17 Join us for the annual Board of Visitors Golf & Tennis Tournament Oct. 26, 2016 Shotgun start at noon Tennis starts at 8:30 a.m. The Board of Visitors Tournament is a once-a-year opportunity for the public to play our distinguished, private tennis courts and golf course. We invite you to spend the day on our beautiful campus with MU students and experience tournaments like none other in our area. The field is limited to 54 players for golf and 32 for tennis, and is available on a first come, first serve basis. As an active Chamber member we encourage you to have Business after five events, monthly chamber meetings and occasional dinners and get togethers which give Chamber members the chance to share information and ideas about their business. These functions serve as a great way to

21 get to know your neighbors, and to help them to get to know you. Remember to bring plenty of business cards.
