1 MINUTE RECORD PAPILLlON CITY COUNCIL MINUTES TUESDAY FEBRUARY P M The City Council of the City of Papillion met in open and public session at the Papillion City Hall on at 7 00 PM Michelle Wehenkel called the roll Present were Council members James Glover David Black Tom Mumgaard Bob Stubbe Lu Ann Kluch Brian Liesveld Steve Engberg and Mayor James E Blinn Gene Jaworski was absent Also present were City Administrator Dan Hoins Assistant City Administrator Christine Myers City Attorney Michael Schirber City Engineer Art Beccard Planning Director Mark Stursma Recreation Director Lori Hansen Public Works Director Marty Leming Director Golf Course Maintenance Tom James Finance Director Nancy Purscell Chief of Police Len Houloose and Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Strawn Girl Scout Troop 2444 led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance Affidavit of Publication Notice of the meeting was given in the Papillion Times the designated method of giving notice A copy is available in the office of the City Clerk Incorporated herein by reference as if fully set out herein is the audio and visual recording of the council meeting Public Announcement that a current copy of the open meeting act is posted in the City Council Chambers PRESENTATIONS Mayor Blinn presented Marlin Burke Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 6429 with a plaque of appreciation for their donations to the Senior Center ADMINISTRATOR S REPORT City Administrator Dan Hoins gave an update on the following 1 The Papillion Creek Watershed Partnership is holding a meeting on to discuss the proposals that local governing bodies that will be acting on in the next few months 2 A Valentine s Day brunch will be held on at the La Vista Senior Center It is a combined event with the City of La Vista Historically several elected officials have assisted with serving the seniors 3 The annual Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce Grand Giveaway is coming up on It is at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS 1 Approval of the aaenda as presented 2 Approval of the Minutes of the January City Council Meetina 3 Approval of the bills as presented 4 RES R A resolution to approve bills related to the construction of Fire Station No 2 Fire Chief Bill Bowes 339 1
