1 Call to Order: Knights of Columbus Grand Knight Arnie Vandercruyssen called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm Warden Gil Dutilly vouched that all members present possess current membership cards. 2 Chaplain's Report: Knights of Columbus Thank you for helping with Birthday Party for Jesus and a special thank you to Shari Dominique for her help Father Stan gave the Knights a challenge: o Be hospitable o Help getting more people back to the church Grand Knight's Report: Coats for kids went well for Manna Meal Feb 2 Chili cook off Treasurer's Report: Starting Assets $24, Monthly Income $ Monthly Expense $ 2, Ending Assets $22, Trustee s Report All bills were approved Chancellor's Report: Tom to take our Seminarians out to lunch in the first quarter of Financial Secretary Report All bills have been read and paid #13950 Council Minutes /13/2019

3 Charitable Giving Committee Report: Bob Jackson made a motion to give $300 to the Catholic Community Response Team. The motion was seconded by Gil Dutilly and passed unanimously. o The organization supports families that are in poverty that reside in Pontiac o They provide food, clothing, and rent money 4th Degree/Church Director Great turn out for Wreaths Across America o Over 400 wreaths laid out John says to pay your 4 th Degree bill Advocate's Report: Spelling Bee: o Winner Thomas Belej o 1 st runner up Michael Kenny o 2 nd runner up Martino Kas-Mikha Jan 12 Free throw competition from 12 pm to 2 pm at St. Mary of the Hills Gym o Bob had an issue with having the right size balls for the contest and has requested we buy him a new pair Feb 9 District free throw competition Last poker event raised $4,089 Feb at Cicarelli s Lecturer Feb 9 Bowling Tournament Feb 16 St. Isadore is hosting Major Degrees #13950 Council Minutes /13/2019

4 Deputy Grand Knight's Report: November: o Knight of the Month Emanuel o Family of the Month Tom Kubacki October: o Knight of the Month Mike Michon o Family of the Month Paul and Sue Thorn District Deputy's Report: Alex Dominque brought to our attention that the Marysville Council wants $5000 to help fund their ultrasound project. There was a lot of discussion around the dollar amount. So, John Hundiak made a motion to support the Marysville Council Ultrasound project and the amount to be determined in the first quarter of Bill Travnik seconded the motion and that decision passed unanimously. Birthday Party for Jesus was a success o 160 attended including 86 children 40 sweatshirts and 20 toiletry baskets were donated Jan 16 District Meeting at St. Andrew s 6 pm Feb 2 Major Degree at St. Paul s Feb 23 Membership Tribute Banquet at DeCarlo s 4 pm Drawings: 50/50 Raffle was worth $60 and won by Bob Reblin The Attendance Raffle was worth $44.
