The public meeting is tape-recorded 2. Individuals addressing the Board shall be limited to five minutes each with no more than twenty minutes per topic. The Board of Trustees will take no action at this time but may refer the issue for further consideration. (Board Policy 9322/9323) 4. No action or discussion shall be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except that members of a legislative body or its staff may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed by persons exercising their public testimony rights under Section in addition, on their own initiative or in response to questions posed by the public, a member of a legislative body or its staff may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement, or make a brief report on his or her own activities. Furthermore, a member of a legislative body, or the body itself, subject to rules or procedures of the legislative body, may provide a reference to staff or other resources for factual information, request staff to report back to the body at a subsequent meeting concerning any matter, or take action to direct staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. Recalculation of the Fiscal Year Limit and an estimate of Winton School District s Limit.

PROPOSED APPROVAL OF MERCED COUNTY SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL DUES STATEMENT BETWEEN MERCED COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION AND THE WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE AMOUNT OF $75.00 FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR. Approve Merced County School Boards Association Annual Dues Statement between Merced County Office of Education and the Winton School District in the amount of $75.00 for the school year. d. PROPOSED APPROVAL TO DECLARE THE SUBMITTED LIST FOR WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT S MAINTENANCE, OPERATIONS, AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT AS SURPLUS ITEMS. Approve submitted list for Winton School District s Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation Department as surplus items. e. PROPOSED APPROVAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MERCED ADULT SCHOOL AND THE WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR MERCED ADULT SCHOOL TO PROVIDE ENGLISH CLASSES TO PARENTS EFFECTIVE AUGUST 29, 2016 UNTIL JUNE 30, Approve Memorandum of Understanding between Merced Adult School and the Winton School District for Merced Adult School to provide English Classes to parents effective August 29, 2016 until June 30, 2017.

PROPOSED APPROVAL OF THE LETTER OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT AND MERCED UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT (MUHSD) FOR TEACHER PARTICIPATION IN THE MUHSD INDUCTION PROGRAM TO MEET INDUCTION STANDARDS DESIGNED TO MEET CLEAR CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR. Approve the Letter of Agreement between Winton School District and Merced Union High School District (MUHSD) for Teacher Participation in the MUHSD Induction Program to meet Induction Standards designed to meet clear credential requirements for the school year. g. PROPOSED APPROVAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MIGRANT EDUCATION REGION III AND THE WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR. PROPOSED APPROVAL TO ADD TO THE WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO BARGAINING UNIT SALARY SCHEDULE FOR CERTIFICATED STAFF WITH LESS THAN FULL CONTRACT THE RATE OF PAY FOR MIGRANT SATURDAY ACADEMY ADMINISTRATORS AT A COMPENSATORY RATE OF $40.00 PER HOUR AND MIGRANT SATURDAY ACADEMY TEACHERS AT A COMPENSATORY RATE OF $30.00 PER HOUR. Approve to add to the Winton School District No Bargaining Unit Salary Schedule for Certificated Staff with less than Full Contract the rate of pay for Migrant Saturday Academy Administrators at a compensatory rate of $40.00 per hour and Migrant Saturday Academy Teachers at a compensatory rate of $30.00 per hour. AND THE WINTON SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ONE RISO MACHINE AT SYBIL CROOKHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Approve the Agreement/Lease between RISO Products of Sacramento, Inc. and the Winton School District for the replacement of one RISO machine at Sybil Crookham Elementary School.

6 j. PROPOSED APPROVAL OF SHORT-TERM STAFF PERMIT (STSP) FOR INDIVIDUALS NOT FULLY CREDENTIALED IN A SPECIFIC AREA, BUT MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.
