Officers contacted 46 y/o Gregory Martinez of Orland, reported a theft of license plates. A report was taken. Officers contacted 37 y/o Erica Corcoran of Orland, who informed Officers about a scam that she had been a victim of. The incident was documented. Officers contacted the RP who reported her 6 y/o daughter was being bullied at school. The RP was referred to the Orland Unified School District for further assistance. Officers contacted 22 y/o Orland resident Sharlene Burke who reported somebody entered her apartment and stole a television and a laptop computer within the last three days. A report was taken. ALARM Burglary Alarm Dec 16, 2016-Friday at 21:09 200Blk of E O responded to an alarm activation. Officers found the business secure and determined the alarm was activated by the wind. The RP, stated an elderly female was sitting outside and was concerned due to the weather. O contacted the female who had no place to go and was later transported by O to a shelter in Chico. Officers contacted a14 y/o juvenile who, after an investigation, was arrested for domestic violence. The juvenile was transported/booked into the Glenn County Juvenile Hall. Officers contacted a 13 y/o male who was waiting for a friend at the park. The juvenile was advised of the complaint and moved along. Officers contacted the reporting party who advised the matter was settled and requested no further action. Officers contacted 52 y/o Doyle Shippelhoute who reported a female subject, driving a silver Toyota 4Runner stopped at the avenue of lights and stole stuffed animals. The vehicle was stopped and the property was recovered. During the investigation, the driver, 30 y/o Paradise resident Chelsey Vincent was arrested for DUI, DUI with a BAC greater than.08%, child endangerment, and possession of an open container. Shippelhoute declined to pursue charges for the theft and the property was returned. Vincent was booked into the Glenn County Jail and the vehicle was turned over to a licensed, sober driver. CHILD SAFETY 601 W&I /Truancy Dec 18, 2016-Sunday at 22:29 600Blk of DATE ST O responded to a report defiant juvenile. The RP stated her son is on probation and refused to come home. The juvenile returned home around 2100 hours, but had been defiant. The incident was documented and the RP was advised to contact her son's Probation Officer. ALCOHOL VIOL DUI/Alcohol Dec 18, 2016-Sunday at 20:32 O responded to a reported possible drunk driver. The RP stated a black Infinity was driving reckless from Hamilton City to Orland. The incident happened ten minutes before the call was made. The area was checked and was unable to locate. CVC MOVING VIOL Basic Speed Law Dec 18, 2016-Sunday at 22:20 E SOUTH ST O initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a black 2016 Honda Civic. The driver, 18 y/o Orland resident, Bryan Perez-Chavez, was issued a citation for speeding. OTHER INCIDENT Assist Glenn Co Sheriff Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 02: CO RD 16 O responded to assist GCSO Deputies with a report of two suspicious subjects looking into vehicles. Officers assisted until no longer needed. OTHER INCIDENT Assist CHP Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 01:20 I5 O assisted CHP with a report of a loose horse on the freeway. O contacted three subjects who advised they were waiting to get a room at the Orlanda Motel. The phone has been replaced, documentation only. PUBLIC NUISANCE Trespass Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 11: SIXTH ST O responded to the report of harassment. Officers contacted 43 y/o Gary Campbell of Orland. Campbell reported that his ex-girlfriend 39 y/o Janey Schell of Orland has been harassing him at his place of business. Campbell requested that Schell be admonished for trespassing at R&R Sales. Officers provided Campbell with information on how to obtain a restraining order. Officers then admonished Schell for trespassing at R&R Sales. The incident was documented, no further action by O. TRAFFIC COLLISION Traffic Collision/No injuries Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 12:46 EAST STREET O responded to the report of a traffic collision. Officers determined that the Collison was non-injury and assisted both parties with an information exchange. OTHER INCIDENT Fire call Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 12: Blk of COUNTY ROAD FF O responded to the report of a structure fire. Officers assisted until no longer needed. Officers contacted the RP who reported that there was a older model blue sedan in the parking lot and that it appeared as is people were camping in the vehicle. Upon Officers arrival at scene the subjects were not present. The RP requested extra patrol in the area. WARRANT Bench Warrants/Felony/Booked Dec 19, 2016-Monday at 20: MARIN ST O responded to a report of a possible domestic incident and a subject with a felony warrant Officers located 28 y/o Orland residents, Saul Perez, at the residence, who was arrested for a felony warrant alleging assault with a deadly weapon, felony domestic violence, false imprisonment w/ violence, child endangerment, and multiple special allegations. Perez was booked into the Glenn County Jail and his bail was set at $330, OTHER INCIDENT 310 Verbal Notice By Police Dec 20, 2016-Tuesday at 01:10 O initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a White, 1999, Chevrolet, Tahoe for a speeding violation. The driver, 22 Y/O Armon Skidmore, of Orland was issued a notice of a suspended license.
