Officers Fisher and Swick went to the Police Supervisory In Service Training (POSIT) class from /5/ /9/. This class is instructed by the Penn State Justice and Safety Institute. On // and 5// officers participated in a firearms training exercise prepared by Officer John Skrip at the Allegheny County Police Academy.
5 On 5/5/ Officers Swick and Davidson participated in the SHACOG Active Shooter Training. On 5// Officers Rech and Wagner participated in the SHACOG Active Shooter Training. Our new patrol car laptops are in and awaiting install. Car is back from the upfitter and is in service. Pamela Kunkel was recently hired as a Crossing Guard and underwent training. She is currently assigned a post and serving her probationary period. Crossing Guard Florence Piljuga has retired. We want to thank her for her many years of service and dedication the the children and residents of our community. We are currently conducting background checks for other potential Crossing Guard candidates. We are still accepting applications. As a reminder we will be hosting a Car Seat Safety check on Saturday 9// from am to :pm at the Brentwood Borough Volunteer Fire Department.
