1 Presidents Message Placerville, Ca A Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America July 2015 Vol 37 Issue 7 As I write this President s Message I reflect on the energy, inventiveness and, yes, the sacrifices of the American Spirit in making our country what it is today. On the Fourth of July we will celebrate the founding of our Nation. And, I hope, give thanks to those whose sacrifices made it possible for us to have the living with the freedoms, and also responsibilities we have today. On the eleventh of this month we will have the President s Stew. We will meet at Walmart and tour to Connie and Claude s ranch in Camino. Our Vice-President Carol will lead the convoy. Once you get there we will have light and easy activities to choose from. This will be followed by a meal of Beef Stew, with the meat and potatoes supplied by the President. Other ingredients in the stew, vegetables and such supplied by you, the members of the club. We will also have members supplied salads and desserts for us to enjoy. Mark your calendars, July 11, Fun and Feast at the President s Stew at the Sipe s, 2640 Dancing Oaks Rd., Camino Bill Lincoln Upcoming Events & Tours July 4 July 11 July 4 th of July Parade President s Stew at the Sipes (No General Meeting) July 25 Car Show at Pollock Pines Riebes Auto Parts Aug 15 Aug 15 Car Show Placerville Elks Lodge Lunch & Private Collection Tour MAFCA Certificate of Merit Award Page 1
