3 Hi All, FOOM As you may already know, the Friends Of Olde Mill s Fall Quarter Auction is coming up, Friday, Oct.13th. This will be a Halloween themed event to raise money for Barlowe Field s playground and you could win prizes for only quarters! We will have awesome gifts to be auctioned off and several door prizes too. Please let me know if you plan on attending and how many people are in your party so that I may reserve a table for you. 6 THE MINUTES The September 6th VOMCA meeting was cancelled due to rain.

7 Avoid Injury!!! Avoid Legal Action!!! HOMEOWNERS You are responsible for your sidewalks. If you have or see unsecured cables or wires crossing your sidewalk, call BG&E to have them secured or evaluated, to avoid TRIP HAZARDS! In addition, toys, snow accumulations or anything left on a sidewalk that could trip someone needs to be removed to prevent any possible legal liability for injury. People walk the sidewalks at all hours of the day and night and are not always able to avoid hazards in time to prevent injury. We have had many complaints about hazards on sidewalks and many people have been injured because of preventable hazards being left on sidewalks. You, the homeowner, could be held liable for someone s injury. Editor Be Proactive!
