Kimberly Green, Planning Supervisor & Sustainability Coordinator, spoke at GA today about Bradley s recycling program. Please see link, 2. I met with Mona Hutchinson to discuss the process of adding Bradley Quick Cash service to off campus restaurants. I am in the process of communicating with Dunkin Donuts and Jimmy Johns to give more off campus dining choices to students. 3. On Thursday (4/27) I am meeting with Gayle Hanson and Jessica Engbrecht (Aramark), to get to know each other and discuss goals in regards to campus dining next school year. C. Campus Safety, Brandon Sheraden (time) 1. Last BUPD Safety meeting this Friday at noon 2. Two SAAM events this week: a) Self Defense with BUPD tonight 8-9:30 in Markin Performance Court - open to all student senate and two individuals from each panhellenic chapter - please come!

3 b) Coffee with a cop this Wednesday at 10-2PM in Student Center Atrium (1) Come grab coffee, teal donuts, and mingle with the BUPD! D. City and Local Affairs, Jalyn Prewitt (time) 1. I apologize for missing GA due to class, but I hope ya ll had a wonderful weekend and have a productive last full week of classes. 2. Jessica Chandler returned my concerning the group volunteer activity. We decided to reconnect by the end of finals to brainstorm some opportunities for a group outing. It will be next semester and (hopefully) right before the weather turns chilly. Ya ll will have ample time in advance to plan around schedules when we return for the fall. 3. I reached out to Chief Joschko to introduce myself before the West Bluff City Council meeting. The meeting occurs at 7pm this Thursday in SC 203. If anything of interest arises, I will be sure to report that back to cabinet and GA. 4. After a SABRC funding meeting with Tom Coy, I have decided a major revamp of the I Am Brave program needs to occur. This will be my primary concern these last few weeks on the hilltop, over summer, and into the fall. When committees are chosen, I will reach out to gather any and all opinion/ideas/thoughts on the program. I hope to reenergize the campus with this initiative. So I will need ya lls help. 5. Brainstorming efforts for increasing student exposure to Peoria-area businesses and activities is occurring. I would like to partner with the up and coming businesses of P-town to encourage Bradley students to venture beyond the bubble. This may somehow get tied to I Am Brave, but more information will be provided as soon as I organize my thoughts. a) If anyone has ideas, please contact me: (1) jprewitt@mail.bradley.edu (2) (850) E. Diversity and Inclusion, Camille Sanders (time) 1. Tentative date for Culture on the Quad is Sept. 6th (not really sure about the time yet, part of it depends on when it starts to get dark because we will be watching a few short films) 2. I ll be meeting with Norris Chase tomorrow at 2pm. This meeting is to start building a better connection with ODI (Office of Diversity and Inclusion) and to start throwing some ideas around to see what kinds of resolutions we can look into for the upcoming academic year. 3. I sent out s to the presidents of the BSA, ALAS, MSA, Common Ground and AAA just to touch base with them and, again, establish that

4 connection. I ll be meeting with them again at the beginning of next school year. The end goal is to set up at least a monthly meeting with the presidents of those clubs and if necessary weekly meetings. If there are other organizations on campus that any of you believe I should be in touch with just see me after GA or me and I d be happy to add them to my list. a) crsanders@mail.bradley.edu 4. Internal Affairs, Andrew Yohanan (time) 1. Quick recap of expectations as senators: Dress, Constituency Reports, Department meetings, GA. 2. Qualifications for Senator in bad standing, we will be stricter this year. 3. I have begun revamping the Constituency report form, as well as the general public comment form (the one for the ipad) 4. After talking to The SBO s and Forest, we will be optimizing and modifying the Student Senate website (I would like everyones imput. If there is something you would like to see on the page, send it to me in a constituency report.) 5. It is highly suggested that Senators advertise the ipad in the student center so we can continue to gather feedback from the campus throughout the week, as well as the rest of the semester. 6. If you have any questions about Senate please ask one of your officers. No matter how obscure the question, one of us will probably know the answer. 7. I would like to have a practice this week of the Constituency Report system to have everyone familiarized with it. The link will be in the minutes, as well as under forms on the website. Once you reach the page, star it you will have to back to the information a lot. If you have an issue that you would like to deal with now, and you think you will forget it come fall, everything is saved so we will readdress things when we return. DncOCo0PhK1bEcCd94yXeqv1e1LgdFwKBlwQiEhtg/viewform?c=0&w =1 F. Student Affairs, Camryn Kirkham (time) 1. If you re not already please follow student senate on as many social media outlets as possible. I post campus events happening and also am the one to post anything you guys think should be posted so it would help to familiarize yourself with the pages. a) Facebook: Bradley Student Senate

5 VI. b) Instagram: bradleysenate c) Twitter: BradleySenate 2. Please retweet, share, and like as much as possible the best way to get more attendance at campus events is to spread the word! And if you think something should be posted please get it to me as early as possible! 3. Molly and I met with Tom and we are being funded for two shirts (regular and founder s day) And also hats. All of those will be used at the Rise of The Red events in the fall. 4. I am planning on having some sort of poster campaign to get Rise of the Red out there and familiarize the students with what it is and what it actually stands for. I am meeting with Vinny (graphic designer) Friday to talk about that and maybe some other marketing ideas 5. I am still more than willing to accept cool ideas for Rise of the Red, especially any that have to do with PR and marketing. If you have ANYTHING please don t hesitate to run it by me and send it my way: ckirkham@mail.bradley.edu 6. The plan for Rise of the Red this year is to reach a wider variety of students so holding it at different times on of days and at more unique places around campus. I really wanna get the name out there because some students don t know what it is and it s a really cool movement. If we can get a rise in attendance at things like Rise of the Red and other campus events I think we could see a rise in school spirit which is really what we re pulling for. 7. The last Rise of the Red of the semester will be this Friday from 11-1 outside of Bradley Hall! G. Technology Services, Forrest Glenn (time) H. Chief of Staff, Molly Paterson 1. I had a great time at the cabinet retreat yesterday and am excited to get started working with all of senate! 2. 7 range. Encouraging the student body to use those resources and step outside their comfort zone is important to a well-rounded Bradley experience. This upcoming year, I hope to enable and support students and local businesses/organizations alike to foster more partnership. If you are interested in highlighting local grassroots organizations, volunteering for the greater-community, supporting the budding businesses, or simply celebrating more undercover leaders on campus, I would think about joining this committee. d) Diversity and Inclusion working with advocates for diversity on campus From VP Sanders: The job of my committee is fairly straightforward. If you were to join my committee you would be working with minority students and organizations to help give them a voice on student senate. You would also become a proponent of diversity here on Bradley s campus. We ll be working with ODI as well as other diversity leaders on Bradley s campus to create resolutions and events throughout the upcoming academic year. If any of this sounds enticing to you I would encourage you to join my committee. e) Campus Safety safety of the campus From VP Sheraden: Campus safety s job is to raise awareness pertaining to current and/or new safety policies and concerns on campus.
