1 MINUTES OZAUKEE COUNTY BOARD REGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, :00 AM ADMINISTRATION CENTER - ROOM A W. MAIN STREET, PORT WASHINGTON, WI The County Board reconvened at 9:00AM pursuant to adjournment and was called to order by Chairperson Schlenvogt. The Clerk took the roll. All members were present except: Excused Supervisor Henrichs. Absent Supervisor Rishel. Board members and guests stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion made by Supervisor Nelson, seconded by Supervisor Wirth, that the January 3, 2018 minutes be approved as submitted. A voice vote was taken. The majority of the Under communications, the clerk announced the committee votes on the resolutions acted on prior to the meeting. The Notice of Claim pursuant to Section , Wis. Stats. Kevin M.C. Johnson has been withdrawn. Under public comment, Supervisor Wirth announced the passing of former Supervisor John Hilber; Supervisor Richart presented the historic reference of Arirang, a Korean folk song to the U.S. Army s 7th Division and the history of the 7th Division during the Korean War; Mr. Richart also recognized Supervisor Tom Grabow s service in Korea; and Supervisor Winker announced that Washington County Board Chairperson Rick Gundrum will be seated in the 58th Assembly District this evening. County Administrator Dzwinel presented his monthly report which included information on the Ozaukee County Court System; Executive Committee meeting following County Board regarding Lasata Senior Living Campus; resolutions to be presented today; and a foreclosed property acquired by the County in the Town of Cedarburg. RESOLUTION NO INCREASE OF REVENUE PLANNING & PARKS Dated at Port Washington, Wisconsin, this 7th day of February SUMMARY: Fund for Lake Michigan Grant to support enhancements at the Mequon Thiensville fishway - $67,000; Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources - County Conservation Aids Program Grant to support wetland restoration and enhancement activities at Tendick Nature County Park in the Town of Saukville - $1,134; and Fund For Lake Michigan Grant to support fish passage activities on Buser Creek in the Town of Fredonia and Mole Creek in the Town of Saukville - $90,000 VOTE REQUIRED: Two-thirds of Members Elect

With two-thirds of the members elect voting aye, the motion was declared adopted. RESOLUTION NO SUPPORTING APPLICATION OF HEALTH OFFICER TO HEALTH POLICY FELLOW PROGRAM SUMMARY: Resolution supporting the Ozaukee Washington Health Officer s application to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellows program and one year sabbatical if the Health Officer is selected. The majority of the RESOLUTION NO APPROVE THE SALE OF +/ ACRES OF STH 33 & CTH LL EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY, TAX KEY # (LOT 2, CSM 3995) SUMMARY: Approve the sale of the Lot 2 of CSM #3995 located at STH 33 & CTH LL, Tax Key # , for the amount of $500,000. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE

The majority of the REVISED RESOLUTION NO DESIGNATING BAR PROVIDERS TO UTILIZE COUNTY FACILITIES AT FAIRGROUNDS SUMMARY: To approve fermented malt beverage and intoxicating liquor licensees with licensed premises in Ozaukee County to operate at designated locations at the Ozaukee County fairgrounds as authorized by relevant Wisconsin Statute. RESOLUTION NO SUBMIT AND ACCEPT A WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES RIVER PROTECTION MANAGEMENT GRANT FOR MEQUON THIENSVILLE DAM FISHWAY ENHANCEMENTS SUMMARY: Submittal and acceptance of a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources River Protection Management Grant to fund County activities to support enhancements at the Mequon Thiensville fishway supporting previous efforts and the overall Fish Passage Program. NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE

The vote was taken as follows: Ayes - 24, Nays - 0, Absent - 2. The majority of the members present voting aye, the motion was declared adopted. There were no committee appointments. Under committee reports, Public Works Committee Chairperson Geracie reported on the meeting that was held with local businesses to discuss the Transit Development Plan. Motion made by Supervisor Wirth, seconded by Supervisor Nelson, to adjourn, subject to call by the Chairperson, or until Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. All members present voting aye, the motion was declared adopted. Meeting declared adjourned at 9:40AM.
