CALL TO ORDER: The Regular Meeting of the Medford Township Board of Education is called to order. This meeting is called in conformance with the "Open Public Meeting Act" with adequate notice provided as follows: 1. Notice was sent to the Burlington County Times on September 9, Notice was filed with the Township Clerk and posted in the Pinelands Branch Library on September 9, Board of Education meeting times and locations are posted on the Medford Township Public Schools District Website. All employee appointments are recommended for approval pending successful completion of security clearances in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1 et seq. N.J.S.A. 18A:39-17 et seq, and N.J.S.A. 18A: et seq. Whereas, N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1 had been revised and now requires emergent approval to employ an individual prior to receiving criminal history background clearance. Be It Resolved that an application be submitted to the County Superintendent of Schools in accordance with the revised statute, requesting emergent approval of employee hiring to provide necessary staff to operate school. 1. Approval of Memorandum of Agreements and Salary Guides between the Medford Township Board of Education and the Medford Education Association: It is recommended the Medford Township Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Agreement between Medford Township Board of Education and the Medford Education Association for Teachers, Support Staff and Transportation for the School Year as presented in Exhibit , dated September 15, Information Summary: These Agreements will be utilized to create the Contract between the Medford Township Board of Education and the Medford Education Association effective July 1, 2015 June 30, Approval of Salaries for the Academic Year: Due to ratification of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Medford Township Board of Education and the Medford Education Association, request approval of revised salaries for all staff listed, by group, including: Administrators, Non-Affiliated Administrators, Professional Staff, Non-Affiliated Staff, Secretaries, Clerks, Custodians, Mechanics, Bus Drivers and Maintenance Staff for the academic year as listed on Exhibit , dated. 6. Approval of Personnel for Preschool Transportation: Request approval of staff listed below for Mid-day runs for the academic year.
