4 10.4 Tax Refunds RESOLVED, that the District shall be authorized to accept payments within one dollar ($1.00) of the taxed amount in the following manner: if taxes are paid in excess of the taxed amount, but within one dollar ($1.00) of the amount due, the payment shall be accepted and the excess payment, in an amount not to exceed $0.99, shall not be refunded to the taxpayer; if taxes are paid in an amount less than the taxed amount, but within one dollar ($1.00) of the amount due, the payment shall be accepted by the District and no further action will be necessary on behalf of the taxpayer. Payments not within one dollar ($1.00) of the taxed amount shall be accepted and/or rejected in accordance with the New York State Real Property Tax Law and/or procedures established by the Granville Central School District Fund Raisers Nov FFA - Country Meats Meat Sticks Becker/Trinkle 10.6 Surplus Bids Approval of Surplus Bids for Technology & Furniture 10.7 Donation To the MJT Climate Committee T-shirts for staff donated by Barlow Electric ,000 Locker Room Project the Board of Education (the Board ) of the Granville Central School District (the District ) is proposing Project 1: HS Door and Locker Room Alterations and the proposed Project entails the construction, maintenance, repair, replacement, reconstruction and/or rehabilitation involving no substantial changes or expansion beyond 10,000 square feet of existing structures and/or facilities; and the proposed Project is a routine activity of the District; and 4

5 the Board has considered the information and documentation, which describes the design and intent of the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Education as follows: 1. The District hereby establishes itself as the Lead Agency under 6 NYCRR Part 617, State Environmental Quality Review Act, (SEQRA). 2. The Proposed Action does not exceed thresholds established under SEQRA. 3. The Board hereby determines the Proposed Action is a Type II action in accordance with the SEQRA regulations. 4. No further review of the Proposed Action is required under SEQRA. 5. This resolution is effective immediately Cooperative Bidding for Water Testing The Cooperative Bidding (Purchasing) Service is a plan of a number of public school districts in the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Albany-Schoharie- Schenectady-Saratoga Counties area (Capital Region BOCES) in New York, to bid jointly equipment, supplies, contractual items, as well as cafeteria commodities, including but not limited to food, beverages and culinary items, and The School District named below is desirous of participating with other districts in the Capital Region BOCES in the joint bidding of the items mentioned above as authorized by General Municipal Law, Section 119-o, and This resolution shall not preclude the School District named below from separately bidding equipment, supplies and contractual items in those instances where only a single School District is seeking to make a purchase, and the School District named below may at its option notify the Capital Region BOCES that it elects not to participate in a particular bid, and The School District named below wishes to appoint the Capital Region BOCES to advertise for, bid, accept, tabulate bids and award bids on their behalf; therefore BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Education of the School District listed below hereby appoints the 5

6 Capital Region BOCES to represent it in all matters relating above, and designates the Daily Gazette Newspaper as the legal publication for all related Cooperative Purchasing bid notifications, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Education of the Central School listed below authorizes the Capital Region BOCES to represent it in all matters leading up to and including the entering into a contract for the purchase of the above mentioned commodities and services, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Education of the School District listed below agrees to (1) assume its equitable share of the costs of the Cooperative Bidding; (2) abide by majority decisions of the participating districts; (3) abide by the Award of the BOCES Board; (4) and that after the award of the bid it will conduct all negotiations directly with the successful bidder(s). 11.
