Diretor Walsh arrived at the meeting at 1: 18 PM. 3 CHAIR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS Chair Ranta welomed the following Alternate Diretors to the meeting: Counillor Kathy Sinlair for Diretor Singh - Counillor Ken Kjenstad for Diretor Harwood The Chair notified the Eletoral Area Diretors that their registration forms for the 218 UBCM Convention were in their blue folders and that Diretors who did not omplete the attendane form for the Out of Town Board Meeting & Eduation Session reeived another opy. 3 Thursday, July 19, 218 Page 3 of 23 Moved by Diretor Christian Seonded by Diretor Watson THAT the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting dated June 14, 218 be adopted. 6 BYLAWS (From Publi Hearing - If Required) None. 7 DELEGATIONS Diretor Gillis delared a onflit advising that his daughter is a member of a fair soiety and left the meeting. 7.a Request for Finanial Assistane Evelyn Pilatzke, President BC Agriultural Exposition Soiety Ms. Pilatzke introdued herself to the Board and provided an overview of the BC Agriultural Exposition Soiety and its event, the BC Ag Expo. She noted that there are H members registered to date from 11 different lubs. Ms. Pilatzke highlighted projets within beef, sheep, horse, goat, rabbit, dog, photography, and leatherwork, and shared ativities that are new this year with fiber goats and a fleee ompetition. She explained that the live aution omponent allows members to sell their projet and help fund the next year's projet. The delegation is looking for a $5. sponsorship and responded to questions from the Board.
