MINUTES Roll Call Present: Absent Michael Kraatz Jamie Watt Janet Farmer Allen Cox Todd Barnes Gary Keiser David Clayton arrived at 4:30pm. Also present were Joe Fitzpatrick, Karl Trujillo and Tiffany O Connell Approval of the May 7, 2018 Downtown Development Authority Meeting Minutes Gary Keiser and Todd Barnes mentioned some minor typos. Tiffany O Connell said that she would fix them. Motion: Janet Farmer made a motion to approve the corrected May 7, 2018 Meeting Minutes. Gary Keiser seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Reports - None Correspondence - None UNFINISHED BUSINESS- Crested Butte Way Update Joe Fitzpatrick said that the original bid for CB Way was $380,414 and right now it looks like we are going to be about $50,000 over budget. This is due to the boiler. The system that is currently in place can handle the updated CB Way but by adding a new boiler if anything happens to the old boiler then we will still have a fully functional snow melt system. They had to tear up the concrete in front of the Elevation Hotel. The concrete was super thick and they had to dig a four foot deep trench to fix the drainage issue in front of the hotel. Skier Drop Off Update Joe Fitzpatrick said he still does not have an update on the Skier Drop Off. He plans on waiting for Vail to close on buying CBMR and then we will begin discussions with them regarding this drop off. No money has been spent on this project yet. Nordic Inn Property PUD Update NI-2, ROS-1 Land Purchase Option Agreement Gary Keiser told everyone that the Town Council has approved this purchase. The DDA is purchasing lot NI2 and the Town will purchase lot ROS1. ROS1 is not located within the DDA.

CRESTED BUTTE, CO 4:00 PM REGULAR MEETING Council Chambers NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Possible Consideration of TC-1 Recreation Path Stair Access Joe Fitzpatrick said that years ago when we did a spur of the Recreation Path from Gothic Road to Emmons Road we received an easement from Ponderosa Condominiums. Part of the easement required the Town to construct a stairway from Inn Site No. 2.TC-1 also known as the Rasta Lot to the Recreation Path. This stairway was to be completed to later than the end of the year Joe Fitzpatrick met with SGM regarding the construction of this stairwell. The cost is roughly between $50,000 and $100,000. They are also looking to cover the stair well to help with snow removal. (Audio was started at this point 4:32pm.) Todd Barnes said he would like to look into the cost of grading and paving the Rasta Lot. David Clayton said that by stripping the parking lot you could fit a lot more cars. Joe Fitzpatrick said that if we were to grade and pave the Rasta Lot we would also need to add retaining walls to Treasury Road in order to do it right and maximize all of the space. He will work on getting this estimate. OTHER BUSINESS Joe Fitzpatrick said that he has a meeting coming up with the Snowcrest Homeowners Association regarding the Snowcrest Bridge. It seems as if they are interested in re-doing the bridge. This will be a 50/50 responsibility and he will report back what is discussed at that meeting. Next meeting will be August 6, ADJOURN Motion: Janet Farmer made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Todd Barnes seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 4:41pm.
