BOND ITEMS : FIRST & FINAL READING PUBLIC HEARING Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing the issuance of $10,255,000* City of Temple, Texas Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 2006; authorizing the levy of an ad valorem tax and the pledge of certain revenues in support of the certificates; approving an official statement, a paying agent/registrar agreement, purchase contract and other agreements related to the sale and issuance of the certificates; and authorizing other matters related to the issuance of the certificates, to be considered on an emergency basis : FIRST & FINAL READING PUBLIC HEARING - Consider adopting an ordinance establishing the City of Temple, Texas Utility System Revenue Financing Program, hereinafter referred to as the Master Ordinance, to be considered on an emergency basis : FIRST & FINAL READING PUBLIC HEARING - Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing the First Supplemental Ordinance to the Master Ordinance Establishing the City of Temple, Texas Utility System Revenue Financing Program and authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of $21,265,000* City of Temple, Texas Utility System Revenue Bonds, Series 2006, authorizing the execution of a bond purchase agreement, an escrow agreement and approving an official statement and making provisions for the security thereof and authorizing other instruments and procedures relating thereto, to be considered on an emergency basis. VI. CONSENT AGENDA All items listed under this section, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the City Council and may be enacted by one motion. If discussion is desired by the Council, any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of any Councilmember and will be considered separately. 8. Centraland Title Company for title work services title letters $100 each; runsheets $125 each; and 3. Central Texas Appraisal Company and Kokel-Oberrender-Wood on a rotating basis for appraisals prices varies. Ordinances Second & Final Reading: (AA) : SECOND READING Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing the abandonment of the north 150 feet of the alley located in Block 51, Original Town, between West Avenue E and West Avenue F, and between South 7 th Street and South 5 th Street, and replacement with a utility easement with a length of 150 feet and a width of 20 feet. Franchise Ordinances Second Reading: (BB) : SECOND READING - Consider adopting an ordinance authorizing a non-exclusive franchise to Central Texas Regional EMS to provide nonemergency ambulance transfer services within the City Misc.: (CC) R: Consider adopting a resolution quitclaiming the City s interest, if any, in of an acre at the northwest corner of North. 31 ST Street and West Nugent Avenue and accepting a quitclaim to of an acre, a strip of land separating the acre tract from the street improvements for North 31 st Street and West Nugent Avenue. (DD) R: Consider adopting a resolution authorizing acquisition of property, including but not limited to, fee simple title, improvements and easements, for the Crescent View-Sundance Drainage Improvement Project, describing the tracts to be acquired; determining that such acquisitions are necessary for public drainage purposes; and authorizing exercise of eminent domain if such becomes necessary.
