The public is invited to attend. This evening's meeting constitutes an official Public Meeting of the Board of Education. Action may be taken. If needed, the Board will convene into Executive Session to discuss matters permitted pursuant to NJSA 10:4-12. Upon conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board will return to Regular Session at which time public action may be taken. 6. HS Acclimatization Period Authorization to allow the Madison High School acclimatization period for fall sports to start 8/6/18: NJSIAA Statement: The NATA Preseason Heat Acclimatization Guidelines for Secondary School Athletics approved and adopted by the NJSIAA Medical Advisory Committee retain the same CORE PRINCIPLES that were recommended all NJSIAA member schools in The 14 consecutive days referenced in the NATA definitions merely define the number of days that the human body requires to develop a tolerance to heat and humidity. Member schools are strongly advised to follow the NATA Guidelines for NJSIAA preseason fall practices which officially start on Monday 8/8/18.
