Set the thread into the "FCD" and make sure that the thread is positioned in the middle. Pull back the ring handle with your thumb so that the catcher hook is retracted into the cannula. 3 Penetrate the "FCD" through the subcutaneous tissue (using the incision of the trocar) in the abdominal wall. Make sure theat the catcher hook is always retracted during this procedure. After that, push down the ring handle so that the catcher hook comes out of the cannula. Now you can release the thread. Then retract the catcher hook by pulling the ring handle and extract the "FCD". 4 Now penetrate the "FCD" on the other side of the trocar (picture 2). Please make sure again that the catcher hook is retracted during this procedure. When you have come through the subcutaneous tissue push down the ring handle so that the catcher hook comes out. Take the loose end of the thread by making use of the catcher-hook. 5 Pull the ring handle to retract the catcher hook again. Then remove the "fcd" with the thread followed by the extraction of the trocar sleeve. Knot the thread tightly in the subcutaneous tissue. This ensures an easy and safety handling of the ab-dominal wall closure. 29
