New Serrated Locking Washer NSK Scope The teckentrup Sperrkantscheibe is a bolt locking element with a long history of proved performance.

With the enhanced NSK-Washer you get a secure element which meets the increased requirements for bolt locking.

The working loose is caused by a setting effect which means loss of preload.

The combination of serrated surface and cup spring geometry of the NSK-Washer predicts working loose and turning loose.

2 New Serrated Locking Washer NSK Scope The teckentrup Sperrkantscheibe is a bolt locking element with a long history of proved performance. It specifi cally prevents the failure of a bolt connection under dynamic loads. With the enhanced NSK-Washer you get a secure element which meets the increased requirements for bolt locking. Basically the unintentional loosening of a bolt connection is caused by two mechanisms working loose and turning loose. The working loose is caused by a setting effect which means loss of preload. Due to vibrations and impacts onto the bolt axis a loosening torque appears that can cause a turning loose effect with complete loss of preload. The combination of serrated surface and cup spring geometry of the NSK-Washer predicts working loose and turning loose. It represents the optimum bolt locking solution. Verification in accordance with DIN The vibration test according to DIN is a qualifi ed procedure for testing the locking characteristics of bolt connections. The secure effect is proved by a dynamic transverse load. Teckentrup has its own vibration test device and the NSK washers are tested regularly. Continuous product improvements are developed on the basis of test results.
