The wdow, Cauda Frost, had fed for these benefts on August 26, 1968, fve days ~fter the death of her husband, from whom she had bee:r. separated for some tme: On February 15, 1973, the SSA notfed these benefcares that ther benefts woud.be reduced to $95.70 for each camant as a. resut of the SSA's c, -~~::;.Jn~ton t:u.at Cnares Frost, Jr., was the fat er of two egtmate chdren, Chares E. and Tna L. Frost, whose mother, Loa Coodge, had apped for benefts on behaf of the former on August 26, 1968, the same day Cauca Frost fed her appcaton, and on behaf of both on.apr 8, 1969, a short tme after Tna was born. Supp. at 1315 n.5, but \rs. Yet the Court dd not ntmate that the cases of these pantffs 11ad become moot.
