MESOTHERMS comes from Greek words meaning intermediate and heat ; not cold-blooded and not warm-blooded but in between ; in today s world not many mesotherms; examples include certain types of shark, leatherback turtles and tuna fish; have some control of their body temperature; recent study suggest dinosaurs may have been mesotherms.
