4 Chemistry Stills from our new titles Chemistry: The Periodic Table of Elements The most important chemistry reference is the periodic table. This series explores how and why the periodic table is organised in the way that it is, and teaches students about some of the elements that appear within it. Lithium (Li) and Beryllium (Be) As we learn about the history of the periodic table organisational system and discovery of the elements, this programme examines the elements lithium and beryllium. The characteristics of alkali metals and alkali earth metals are discussed in detail, with the help of graphics and animation demonstrating their similarities and differences.
