Treat or treaters entered through a brick wall and the Hogwarts Express could be seen to their right; the front desk was set up to look like the wizarding bank, and three goblins directed people to the back room where candles were hanging from the ceiling, the Whomping Willow could be seen through the window, and fortune telling was taking place. Fortunes such as my crystal ball tells me reading every night will pay off dividends in the future were very common towards the beginning of the event, but as time progressed, children were destined to become firefighter, batman, or a princess depending on their costume. 3 Police Navidad This year Anchorage Youth Court partnered with Volunteers of America to participate in Police Navidad. Police Navidad consists of multiple non-profits coming together to host a free all day children s event. The proceeds from an in house raffle are donated to Anchorage Youth Court and other city-wide non-profits.
