Ever stop to consider that behind the stands and off the field on a game weekend, a football stadium must provide an enormous amount of services, not just for the fans, but also for the home and visiting teams, as well as facilities for sports, press and other VIPs? Here is your chance to check out the behind the scenes infrastructure as ASME tours M&T Bank Stadium - home to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, October 25th at 11:00 AM. This 90 minute walking tour will include a visit to the locker rooms and team preparation areas, visits to some of the special access areas such as the press level/press box, and club and suite levels. The highlight of the tour will then be limited access to the field where the Ravens play. The stadium and most areas are handicap and wheelchair accessible, however wheels and some walking aids are not allowed on the field itself. GPS is collaborating with the Group Engagement and Transition Team (GETT) to bring you an ongoing series of Monthly Webinars, with topics such as Merit Based Funding, getting the most out of your asme.org group page, updates on ongoing programs and transition activities, and channels of engagement. Each webinar will include an opportunity for questions and will be recorded and made available on the Group Leader Training page on GPS. Our first webinar was about Merit Based Funding, and the October webinars will provide more information on GPS and the GPS group page, and the asme.org Group Pages. There will be one webinar devoted to basics, for new Group Page Admins, and another for more advanced topics. In the advanced webinar, you ll learn about how to use your Activity Feed and News and Updates pages in place of the old Section Newsletter template, to quickly and easily share information with your Group s members. The Engineering building is the red brick building in the center. An entrance to the building faces the Performing Arts building.
