3 Beginning in 2014 the Chamber agreed to coordinate much of the celebration for the city s 175th anniversary of the founding of the community, and Chamber Philip Fritsche Co-Chaired the official 175th Committee with Glen Link from the Dodge County Historical Society. Chamber resources and the generous resources of many chamber members were dedicated to a year long series of events. 9 Blue Zones Project - Dodge County officially launches in Spring 2017 with the goal of fostering healthier communities in Beaver Dam, Horicon, Juneau and Mayville. The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce has been involved in, and supporting this initiative. Thanks to the support of Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc. and its Foundation, this potentially life altering project for thousands of citizens of Dodge County is moving forward. There will be dozens of ways businesses, organizations and individuals can get involved and ways everyone can contribute to Beaver Dam earning Blue Zone Certification.
