1 A Message from Our President Happy Holidays to Everyone, I do hope everyone had a fun and safe Thanksgiving. We should all be thankful for the many things we have in our lives. I know I am thankful for the privilege of you all allowing me to be president of a great organization like Classic Glass Corvette Club. I am also thankful for the help and guidance I received from the members of the board and all those who volunteered to make this another great year. They all took time out of their schedules to ensure car shows went well, routes for cruises were planned, hotels were booked, bills were paid, badges made the list goes on. When you see these people be sure to go up and thank them for all they have done. I would like to personally thank all the board members for the great work they have done throughout 2017: Sandi Johannes VP at Large; Cindy Cowart VP of Membership; Dour Reed VP of Activities; Linda Greer Secretary; Sara Diehl Treasurer; NCM Ambassador Chris Reed; and the entire board, Steve Boaz, Chaz Cone, Calvin Cruce and Tonie Etter. Then there are those who volunteered their time above and beyond. Alan Zeppenfeld as the VetteSette News editor, Jim Johannes ran our Club Store and Mike Hollstein as SuperVette Manager. Without these guys we wouldn t have any shirts, know what is happening in our club and our coffers would be low. And last but not least, thanks to you the members. Without you, many children would not enjoy a birthday or Christmas or go to summer camp. People would not get the medical attention they so badly need. Families would not feel the honor when they look upon the graves of their fallen service member and see the wreath placed there. These are just a few things we have done as a club for our community. I am positive that if they knew who you were, they would thank you personally. The year isn t quite over yet. We still have a few things to accomplish before we say good-by to There is a parade, a car show and of course our annual Holiday Party. At our party, you will be introduced to the new officers, board and staff that will make 2018 the best year ever. Be sure to give them the support you demonstrated with your current board. Thank you for a GREAT year!
