The second annual bazaar aims to celebrate the contributions Palestinians make to society through art, film, food, goods, knowledge, literature and music. It s organized by the local non-profit, Humanserve International. Food, of course is a big part of the Palestinian culture and the local Mediterranean food producer, Pita Bake and Cedar Sweets, is providing snacks for the day. Pita Bake takes Middle Eastern stone-baked pita breads and serves them with a variety of complementary toppings from buffalo to jerk chicken. Cedar Sweets offers irresistible sweets such as baklava to festival-goers. There will also be a chance to purchase fair trade Zaytoun olive oil and spices, with proceeds supporting disadvantaged farmers in Palestine.
