P/P 25 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves the following class trip for the 2016/17 School Year: Grade Destination Date 7 TH 8 TH Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, Princeton NJ 3/23/17 P/P 26 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, affirms the 2016 ESEA Accountability Action Plan; with Board options to affirm, reject or modify the plan (Attached) P/P 27 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves professional development for Dave Astor to attend the NJSBA NASA I-STEAM program on April 28th. Held at NASA s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Total estimated cost $ P/P 28 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, appoints Jeanette Spooner to the position of Track Coach for the 2016/2017 school year ($1,833). P/P 29 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, approves the Ogdensburg School District s Technology Plan for (Attached).

5 FACILITIES/FINANCE MOTION presented by and seconded by to approve: F/F 16 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education approves the January 2017 Check Register for checks from # through # with February Payrolls, electronic funds transfers of $314, and accounts payable of $118,573.61, for a total of $433, (Attached) F/F 17 RESOLVED that Ogdensburg Board of Education, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A: (c), accepts that as of January 31, 2017 no line item account has encumbrances and expenditures, which in total exceed the line item appropriation in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A: (a). Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A: (c) 4, after review of the Board Secretary s and Treasurer s monthly financial reports certify that as of January 31, 2017 and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, to the best of their knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A: and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year. and N.J.S.A. 18A:22.8 and 18A: and sufficient funds are available to meet the district s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year, and furthermore, F/F 18 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education accepts, in compliance with NJSA 18A: , line item transfers for the month of January 2017, to ensure that no line items are over-expended (Attached). 6 F/F 20 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education, approves the attached Use of School Facilities for Boys Scouts of America from 7:30am to 5:30pm, July 1 August 15 th F/F 21 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education would like to thank Maegan Olsen for managing the relationship with Artsonia, and graciously accept the donation of $159.36, donated to the school s activities account to help offset the costs of school field trip expenses. F/F 22 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education thank and acknowledge Mr. Kroth and the Sterling Hill Mine for its gracious donation of time, and materials (including mineral & rock samples, along with a new UV light) to the school s science department. F/F 23 RESOLVED, that the Ogdensburg Board of Education thank the Ogdensburg PTO for its gracious donation of $1,500 to help offset the costs of bus fees associated with class trips. OPEN SESSION #2 EXECUTIVE SESSION MOTION presented by, and seconded by to accept the following declaration of Executive Session as p.m.: BE IT RESOLVED that the Ogdensburg Board of Education adopts the following resolution: "WHEREAS, The Open Public Meeting Act, Chapter 231, P.L permits the exclusion of the public from a meeting in certain circumstances; and WHEREAS, Ogdensburg Board of Education is of the opinion that such circumstances presently exist; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ogdensburg Board of Education, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey that a closed session of this Board of Education, where the public shall be excluded, will be held at this time for the purpose as stated below; and

7 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any action of the Board with regard to the closed session discussions shall be disclosed to the public at a later date and to the extent that the same is not prejudicial to the interests of the parties involved and would not result in a possible invasion of their right to privacy."
