2 STUDENT OF THE MONTH PRESENTATION: MAYA DOBRYGOWSKI REPORT OF THE SECRETARY/BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR - Nicholas Annitti REPORT OF THE ACTING SUPERINTENDENT/PRINCIPAL Dario Sforza, Ed.D. District Goals: 1. The Carlstadt-East Rutherford Board of Education will continue to assess the Digital Learning needs of the district and commit to preparing the district to be Future Ready. 2. The Carlstadt- East Rutherford Board of Education will continue to align instruction with performance standards and use that information to conduct a strategic plan that will design competitive, attractive, and needs based programs to keep students in-district. 3. The Carlstadt- East Rutherford Board of Education will continue the progress made with the development of the Television Multi Media Broadcasting Studio and program. 4. The Carlstadt- East Rutherford Board of Education recognizes that social and emotional wellness of students and staff will lead to a more productive and positive educational environment. Approve the following Fundraisers: C1.1 Gina Annitti January- June 2019 Environmental Club Club members will sell reusable water bottles to reduce the use of plastic in the environment and to promote the new filtered water fountain. Proceeds will be deposited into the student activity fund and used to purchase recycled décor for the Wellness Center. C1.2 Bill Carr 1/18/2019 Jean Day Faculty will pay $5.00 to wear jeans. Proceeds will be deposited into the student activity fund and used to offset the cost of Penn Model Congress. C1.3 Bill Carr 2/04/2019-2/15/2019 Debate The Debate Team will sell DoubleGood Popcorn. Mailing System Buy-Out Agreement: F1.1 Be it resolved that the Board acknowledge receipt of Ck in the amount of $7, from Jersey Mail Systems, LLC, Freehold, NJ for payment to buyout out the existing lease agreement with Pitney Bowes. F1.2 Be it resolved that the Board authorize the Business Administrator to issue a check for the amount of $8, to Pitney Bowes Global Financial Services LLC as settlement for the remainder of the lease agreement.
