1 PUBLIC NOTICES LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO ARCHITECTS/ENGINEERS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Denham Springs Housing Authority (DSHA) intends to engage the services of a qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) team to provide complete Planning, Design and Engineering services for the repair of the following facilities impacted by the recent flood event: LOW RENT APARTMENTS, OFFICE BUILDING AND OTHER FACILITIES Located at 600 EUGENE STREET in Denham Springs, Louisiana, DSHA encourages all small business, minority owned firms, veteran owned firms, and women s business enterprises to participate. M. on Wednesday January 18, 2017 at the Livingston Parish Council office located at Government Blvd., Livingston, LA One of the purposes of this hearing (meeting) is to discuss potential environmental impacts of a proposed new water well for the public water supply serving the Village of French Settlement and alternatives to not drilling the new well. The well will be located near La Hwy 42, adjacent to the intersection of LA Hwy 42 and Jack Allen Road. Water infrastructure improvements for French Settlement Water Company is being financed through the Office of Public Health s Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund (DWRLF) program for water systems in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. This project is necessary to obtain an additional quantity of quality drinking water for the residents in the area. The improvements consist of the addition of a new water well on LA Hwy 42, a 10,000 gallon pressure tank, electric control panels and pipelines connecting this well to the existing system. The estimated cost of this project is $700,000. Current rates in effect for the customers served in this area are sufficient to fund this project. The loan financing this project is set at an interest rate of 2.95%, fixed for twenty (20) years. Fire apparently coming from the ground or burning above the ground. CAUTION: Gas that has accumulated in a confined space is subject to EXPLOSION. Please stay away from immediate area of any suspected gas leak and contact the City of Walker Gas Maintenance Department! NOTE: The City of Walker does not maintain buried piping between the gas meter and the house or business. The customer is responsible for maintaining and repairing this section of gas piping from leakage. These buried gas lines should be checked periodically for leakage.
