Public Hearing for Breakfast Waiver President Waas opened up the hearing at 7:00 pm. Mr. Waas asked if there were any questions. The hearing was 7:03 pm. Approval of Minutes Motion made by Little, seconded by Hoadley and carried TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF FEBRUARY 10, 2015 AS PRESENTED. Motion made by Little, seconded by Hoadley and carried TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE CLOSED SESSION OF FEBRUARY 10, 2015 AS PRESENTED. Financial Reports Mr. DeLeonardis read the February 28, 2015 Income Statement. Revenue - $748, Expenditures - $500, Mr. DeLeonardis read the following fund balances as of February 28, 2015: Education 216, Building 678, Bond 287, Transportation 144, IMRF (14,155.91) Working Cash 1,453, Tort 0.00 Life Safety _ 1, Total 2,768,627.43

2 Page 2 Building and Grounds No report this month Education Mr. Sarro stated that the third quarter of the school year ends on Friday, March 20th. The fourth quarter begins on Monday, March 23 rd. Report cards will be sent home with the students on Friday, March 27 th, before Spring Break. Finance No report this month Long Range No report this month Policy Mrs. Little stated that the board is still researching a policy on cyber bullying. It looks as if we will be able to make some minor modifications to our current bullying policy to accommodate the changes made by the state legislature. A draft will be presented to the Board in April. Public Relations Mr. Sierra stated that Komarek School will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 30 th to Monday, April 6 th. School will resume on Tuesday, April 7 th, at the usual time. Tuesday, April 7 th is also election day, which will include School Board elections. There will be polling in the school gym. Special Committee Reports Superintendent Administrative Report Mr. Bedalow & Ms. Williams gave a presentation to the Board on the new Social Studies books. Mrs. Stalla gave a presentation on the results of the survey to make changes to the library. Mr. Pellicci stated that elections will be held in our gym on April 7. He also stated that this will be the last time the elections will be held in the school. They will be moved to the North Riverside Village Hall. Mr. Pellicci stated that the school musical Aladdin Jr. will be held on April 23 & 24. Pre-sale tickets will be $1.00 and at the door will be $2.00. Mr. Pellicci stated that the April Board meeting will be the re-organization meeting and canvassing of the Board election votes. Old Business Audience Question and Comments PTA/Student Council Report - Mrs. Chiquito stated that the 8 th grade t-shirts have been ordered. Mrs. Chiquito stated that Spring pictures will be held on March 27, April 8 th will be McTeacher Night. PTA meeting will be held on April 9 at 2:30 pm. Donuts with Dads will be held on April 17 and the last Flying High fundraiser will be held on April 18. Marta Janas stated that the Student/Faculty game was a success. The Student Council raised $106 of which $75.00 went to St. Judes and $35 went to Lambs Farm. Kailyn Ngo stated that the Smencils fundraiser was a success and that it raised $500 which will be used toward the Spring Dance. The Student Council is working on a theme for the dance.

3 Page 3 Bills Payable Motion made by DeLeonardis, and seconded by Little TO APPROVE BILLS PAYABLE OF MARCH 10, 2015, IN THE AMOUNT OF $116, AS PRESENTED. Motion made by DeLeonardis, and seconded by Hoadley TO APPROVE BILLS PAYABLE OF MARCH 10, 2015, IN THE AMOUNT OF $18, AS PRESENTED. Correspondence: New Business Approval of Personnel Items Motion made by Sarro and seconded by Little TO DISMISS FOR CAUSE MRS. DOROTHY LAPIETRA AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. Motion made by Sarro and seconded by Little TO APPROVE CONTRACT RENEWALS FOR MELISSA CORLETT, ROSEMARY SANTORO, BIRGIT HILLMER, PHILIP RIEGLE, JAMIE ADAMS, KATIE WILLIAMS, PORTIA GOODMAN, JAN GREENENWALD, NICOLE STRIMELL, REBECCA STASZAK, MICHELE COLE, PATRICIA BOGUSLAW AND HEATHER JOHNSON.

Approve Staffing Plan Motion made by Sarro, seconded by DeLeonardis TO APPROVE THE STAFFING PLAN AS PRESENTED BY THE ADMINISTRATION OF KOMAREK DISTRICT 94, SCHOOL BOARD MEMO MARCH 1, Approve Maternity Leave Motion made by Sarro, seconded by Little TO APPROVE A MATERNITY LEAVE FOR MRS. DIANE MICHELINI BEGINNING AUGUST 24, 2015 AND ENDING OCTOBER 23, 2015, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHOOL BOARD POLICIES 5:185 AND 5:250, AND THE CURRENT DISTRICT 94 TEACHER CONTRACT. Moved to Executive Session Motion made by Little, seconded by Hoadley and carried by a unanimous roll call vote TO MOVE TO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 7:30 P.M. TO DISCUSS PERSONNEL AND STUDENT ISSUES.
