26 Who s News! In late April, 1962, Capitol made available an eleven-track various-artists compilation of songs from new and recent albums. The record, Who s News (Capitol NP-1) sold for 99 and was housed in an inner sleeve only no cardboard cover. The album sold quite well and was soon being pressed by both the LA and Scranton factories. At some point later in the year, Capitol made the album available in a standard cover under the new cover title Top Hits!!!! Top Stars! It did not sell as well in this configuration, but the newer form is also reasonably common.
