2 ExpoSBFV 2017 The ExpoSBFV 2017 is an opportunity offered by the Brazilian Society of Plant Physiology (BSPP) to providers and distributors of services and instruments, scientific brochures and books. At this venue, sponsors will be able to demonstrate their innovations, information, disseminate ideas and exchange knowledge, as well as release new products and do business. The ExpoSBFV 2017 will be part of the XVI Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, that will be held at the Fonte Colina Verde lodge, in the city of São Pedro, São Paulo state, Brazil, on September This is the biannual scientific meeting of the Brazilian Society of Plant Physiology, and it envisages disseminating information and new ideas in plant physiology, including collaboration between attendees. The board of directors of the BSPP has a great expectation for the XVI Congress of the BSPP. We hope to receive around 1000 people, including Brazilian and foreign scientists and researchers, graduate and undergraduate students involved with plant science. The scientific program will be vast and will count with short courses, lectures, thematic sessions and a round table at the end of the Congress, and it will include acknowledged researchers from Brazil, Latin America and overseas. 3 GENERAL INFORMATION About the Brazilian Society of Plant Physiology The BSPP was founded in It is a national organization of private rights, with noneconomic and non-profit interests. It is devoted to disseminating, funding, organizing and discussing the scientific knowledge of plant physiology in Brazil and abroad. The BSPP has been biannually organizing the Brazilian Congress of plant Physiology, and its first edition was in 1987, in Londrina, PR, Brazil. Since then, this Congress has devoted itself to develop and strength plant physiology all over the country. About the city of São Pedro ( Saint Peter ) It is traditionally known for its natural landscapes. Its versatility may be considered part of the tourist city of Saint Peter (São Pedro in Portuguese). It is located in the countryside of São Paulo state, 180 km from São Paulo city, the capital of the state and the financial center of the country. São Pedro has more than 33,000 inhabitants and it is stays at the base of Itaqueri mountain range. The city has a pleasant climate throughout the year. 5 Cancelling policy Cancelling requests must be written and ed to: The organizing committee will refund: 80% value paid if the cancelling request is made eight weeks before the Congress; 50% value paid if the cancelling request is made between 8 and 5 weeks before the Congress; if the cancelling request is made after five weeks before the Congress the organizing committee will not refund. Observation The organizing committee has the right of not accepting any concomitant activity developed by the sponsors at the Congress, during the scientific or cultural program. Contacts Rafael V.
