Mariposa Elementary Cafeteria/MPR Flooring Asbestos Abatement Recommend the Board of Education approve a contract with 5M Contracting, Inc. in the amount of approximately $8, to demolish and perform asbestos abatement in the Mariposa Elementary School's Cafeteria/MPR and to delegate the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services to execute all related agreements. Mariposa Elementary Cafeteria/MPR Flooring Replacement Project Recommend the Board of Education approve an agreement with Mike's Custom Flooring in the amount of approximately $8, to provide labor and materials to install flooring in the Cafeteria/MPR at Mariposa Elementary School and to delegate the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services to execute all related agreements. Cost: $8, (Approximate) Fund: 40 Capital Outlay Mariposa Elementary Cafeteria/MPR Flooring Replacement Project c. KYA Services Brea Olinda High School Gymnasium Flooring Projects Recommend the Board of Education rescind the contract awarded to Hur Flooring in the amount of approximately $56, on March 27, 2017 and award a contract to KYA Services in the amount of approximately $56, for labor and materials necessary to completely resurface the main gymnasium floor including game lines and graphics, and scrub and apply a seal coat to the Auxiliary Gym and Wrestling Room floors pursuant to the informal bid process authorized under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act and to delegate the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services to execute all related agreements.
