BROWN Director CATHY SHEEHY Commissioner NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS of the MORTGAGE LENDING DIVISION WITH AGENDAS Pursuant to Nevada s Open-Meeting Law (as subject of NRS 241 et seq.), notice is hereby given that the State of Nevada, Department of Business & Industry, Division of Mortgage Lending ( the Division ) will hold public hearings to adopt and amend proposed regulations to Chapters 645A, 645B, and 645F of the Nevada Administrative Code ( NAC ), on: MARCH 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m.; and 11:00 a.m. Nevada State Business Center 3300 W. Previously, on January 28, 2019, the Division issued with respect to each of these three respective scheduled hearings, its Notice of Intent to Act Upon a Regulation, Notice of Hearing for Adoption and Amendment of Regulations of the Division of Mortgage Lending, as duly noticed. The Division s supporting materials for each of these public meetings may be obtained upon visiting the website addresses as described above or by contacting Susan Slack at the Division of Mortgage Lending at (702) , in advance of the meetings. A reasonable fee may be charged for copying expenses. Copies of such materials will be available at the meetings. The Division is pleased to make reasonable accommodations for members of the public who are disabled and wish to attend any or all of the meetings. These regulatory changes are proposed to comply with the Division s statutory duty to ensure the effectiveness of Nevada Revised Statute 645B and to conform with and implement revisions made to the law governing the licensing and regulation of mortgage brokers and mortgage agents as enacted by Senate Bill 69 ( SB 69 ) (specifically regarding licensure by endorsement) and Senate Bill 498 ( SB 498 ) (specifically regarding monthly activity reports and continuing education requirements) of the 2017 Session of the Nevada Legislature, thereby adding to and revising various provisions of NAC 645B governing the licensing and regulation of mortgage brokers and mortgage agents.
