2 COMMITTEE OF WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 01, PRESENT: Mr. Bert Arnold, Agent for the Applicant Mr. Zarko Madunic, Architect for the Applicant Kiril Bukatko, resident of 713 Burnhamthorpe Road, Unit 50, Etobicoke, ON M9C 2Z6 Ivanka Cerjanec, resident of th Side Road, R.R. #3, Georgetown, ON L7G 4S6 Joseph Cerjanec, resident of th Side Road, R.R. #3, Georgetown, ON L7G 4S6 Ms. Patzer: Applicant would like to demolish the existing picnic bar pavilion and replace the structure on the same footprint. No objection and none were received. Condition of Site Plan will be required. Mr. Arnold: Here on behalf of the Croatian Centre. They would like to replace the original structure built in 1980 and the current 7.0m setback is to be maintained. The current structure is thirty (30) years old and is not safe. The abutting neighbour has no objection, the requested condition of Site Plan is acceptable and the architect is here to answer any questions. Three Persons In Attendance In Favour Of Requested Variance No Persons In Attendance Opposed To Requested Variance Mr. Bukatko: He is Chairman of the Parish Council and is here today as Father Marko Puljić is out of town. Here in support, involved in both the church and its committees. Would like to replace the structure using the same parameters instead of trying to fix the existing pavilion. Ms. Cerjanec: Is here in support of the proposed changes. Mr. Cerjanec: Supports as well, need a safer structure. Mr. Madunic advised that it is not just for the Croatian Centre as the property helps the broader community soccer, picnics, camps etc. for Halton Region. This picnic shelter serves all the activities and is in shameful condition now. Committee Deliberations: There were no comments, concerns or questions. After discussions, the Halton Hills Committee of Adjustment APPROVED the following motion: It was MOVED, SECONDED, AND CARRIED THAT COMMITTEE OF MINOR VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. The Committee considered the requested variance to be desirable for the appropriate development or use of the land, building or structure. 4. The Committee considered the requested variance to be minor in nature. There were no objections received from circulated agencies or circulated surrounded property owners. The Chairman verbally informed those persons in attendance of the 20-day appeal period from the date of this decision being rendered. HEARING NO. 2 MINOR VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. D13VAR10.022H WONG, BY KAREN WONG, ITEM 4B 110 CONFEDERATION STREET, GLEN WILLIAMS, ON L7G 3R9. REQUESTING RELIEF FROM ZONING BY-LAW 74-51, AS AMENDED, TO INCREASE THE ACCESSORY BUILDING COVERAGE FROM THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED 60m² (40m² FOR DETACHED GARAGE; 20m² FOR OTHER ACCESSORY BUILDINGS) TO ALLOW A 82m² COVERAGE. TO ACCOMMODATE A PROPOSED ONE BUILDING GARAGE/GARDEN SHED AND EXISTING BARN. LOCATED AT CON 9 PT LOT 21, MUNICIPALLY KNOWN AS 110 CONFEDERATION STREET, TOWN OF HALTON HILLS (GLEN WILLIAMS) PRESENT: Ms. Joan Burt, Agent for the Applicant Ms. Patzer: No objection and none were received; several letters of support from neighbouring residents were submitted. Subject to a condition that speaks to outstanding property taxes. Ms. Burt: Would like to construct a two (2) car garage with an attached small garden shed as well as accommodate an existing tiny heritage barn that will be remaining.
