Project No (2) (Mr. Mirza-Avakyan) Conditional Use Permit No. RPPL T-Mobile West LLC South La Cienega Boulevard Lennox Zoned District To authorize the continued operation, maintenance, and minor modifications to a wireless telecommunications facility on the roof of a self-storage building in the C-M (Commercial Manufacturing) zone. This project is categorically exempt Class 1 Existing Facilities pursuant to CEQA reporting requirements. 9. Project No (5) (Ms. Hui) Oak Tree Permit No. RPPL Applicant: Hause Family Trust 2030 Pinecrest Drive Altadena Zoned District To encroach into the protected zones of two oak trees associated with the proposed improvements to an existing single-family residential property in the R-1-20,000 (Single- Family Residence 20,000 Square Foot Minimum Required Lot Area) zone. This project is categorically exempt Class 4 Categorical Exemption Minor Alterations to Land pursuant to CEQA reporting requirements.

Minor Coastal Development Permit No. RPPL A request to authorize the construction of a 2,653-square-foot single-family residence, a 433-square-foot two-car garage, and the removal of one oak tree and encroachment into the protected zone of six oak trees in the R-C-10,000 (Rural Coastal 10,000-Square-Foot Minimum Required Lot Area) Zone within the Santa Monica Mountains Coastal Zone. This project is categorically exempt (Class 3 New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures and Class 4 Minor Alterations to Land) pursuant to CEQA reporting requirements. b. Variance No. RPPL A request to authorize the placement of on-site wastewater treatment system seepage pits within 50 feet of the protected zone of on-site oak trees. PART III DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION Zoning Enforcement 11. Appeal of Notice of Violation (Mr. Stapleton) Enforcement Case No. RPZPE Appellant: Browning-Ferris Industries of California, Inc., dba Sunshine Canyon Landfill and Sunshine Gas Producers, LLC Enforcement Violation: Violation of Conditional Use Permit No Condition 64.C. The subject properties are zoned A-2-2 (Heavy Agriculture Two-Acre Required Area) and are located in the Newhall Zoned District at San Fernando Road Sylmar, CA Appeal of Final Zoning Enforcement Order (Ms. Caldwell) Enforcement Case No. RPCE Appellant: Timothy Vansickel Enforcement Violations: 1) Items classified as junk and salvage material are maintained on the premises (Including but not limited to, discarded furniture and household items) 2) Unpermitted storage is being maintained on the premises (Including but not limited to items classified as junk and salvage, motorhome, travel trailer, construction trailer, hot tub, construction supplies, generator, solar panels, household supplies) 3) One or more recreational vehicles are being used for residential purposes (Including but not limited to a travel trailer and a motorhome hooked up and surrounded by habitation supplies)

Zoning Enforcement The above violations are maintained on the property known as Assessor s Parcel Number located in the unincorporated community of Lancaster, CA. DECEMBER 18, 2018 TIME LIMITS: The Hearing Officer has established time limits with respect to receipt of testimony regarding matters on this Agenda. Applicants will be allowed fifteen (15) minutes to present testimony in support of their application, with an additional ten (10) minutes for responses to issues raised by other witnesses. Other proponents and opponents will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. Responses to questions from the Hearing Officer will not be included in these time limitations. All speakers are urged to refrain from repeating testimony presented by others. The Hearing Officer may impose different time limits, depending upon the length of the agenda, the number of speakers wishing to give testimony and/or the complexity of an agenda item. TIME LIMITS FOR APPEAL ITEMS: Appellant and applicant shall be provided equal time to present evidence. The Hearing Officer shall determine the time limit based on the complexity of the case and the length of the agenda. Time will also be allocated to the appellant for rebuttal. WRITTEN TESTIMONY: Written testimony that is received prior to the public hearing will be made a part of the record and need not be read into the record. PUBLIC HEARING CLOSING AND RE-OPENING: Public hearings that are closed during the course of the meeting may be re-opened by the Hearing Officer without notice at any time prior to adjournment of the meeting.
