1 REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION December 11, 2018 The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Johnson City Central School District, held in the Board Room of the Johnson City High School, 666 Reynolds Road, Johnson City, Broome County, New York was called to order by President Edmondson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, Vice President Matyas led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Upon roll call, Board Members present: Shannon M. Edmondson, President Nicholas J. BOARD Audit Committee: The committee reviewed and reported to the Board COMMITTEE the findings of the quarterly Claims Audit Report and the Internal Audit REPORTS Report. B. DISPOSAL OF MOTION: Trustee Farr SECOND: Trustee Jablonowski OBSOLETE The Asst. Superintendent for Administration and various other EQUIPMENT departments have determined that obsolete equipment, no longer having a useful life in the district, be disposed of. RESOLVED, that the obsolete equipment, a copy of which is attached to the official resolution, be disposed of by the Asst. Superintendent for Administration in the most efficient manner. and it is further, RESOLVED, that the Asst. Superintendent for Administration and the Superintendent are hereby authorized to execute any documents which may be required to effect the result of this disposal. RESOLVED, this resolution shall take effect immediately. ADDRESS 501 Reynolds Road Johnson City, NY TAX MAP # ASSESSMENT REDUCTION $365,821 TO $300, $ 65, ASSESSMENT REDUCTION $365,821 TO $281, $ 84, ASSESSMENT REDUCTION $365,821 TO $236, $128, REFUND DUE $37, REFUND DUE $49, REFUND DUE $79,008.58

Be it further resolved, that the Tax Certiorari Reserve be used for the and refunds and that $86, be appropriated in the General Fund Budget (A Refund on Real Property Taxes); the source is A864 - Reserve for Tax Certiorari refund to come from current year tax revenue (A1001). RESOLVED, this resolution shall take effect immediately. BOARD Trustee Martinez passed along information regarding Koffman OPEN Southern Tier Incubator s data tracking program which is studying DISCUSSION demographic data changes due to university construction in Johnson City. Mr. Race explained how issues were addressed when a transformer malfunction affected the district s power supply on December 11. J. VISITORS There were no visitors that wished to speak. K.
