4 Ra2onale Ø number of pa3ents in the UK having surgical interven3ons for the treatment of benign and malignant disorders of the kidneys, prostate and bladder Ø As such, number of pa3ents developing disease recurrence and progression, as well as post-opera3ve complica3ons (e.g. infec3on, bleeding and blood clots) Ø Post-opera3ve complica3ons result in Ø pa3ents requiring longer hospital stays Ø poor pa3ent experience and outcomes Ø addi3onal financial constraints for the NHS Ø Minor improvements in the monitoring of these pa3ents could have financial benefits for the NHS and health benefits for the na2on

Ø Apend various mee3ngs (e.g. WUS, BAUS and EAU) for networking purposes: this will be ongoing. Ø Publish clinical pilot-studies (these are the papers that will help us secure larger grants in the future) our academic building blocks!!
