7 Data source: The United Na;ons Inquiry among Governments on Popula;on and Development Mandate: General Assembly resolu.on 1838 (XVII) of 18 December 1962 Conducted on behalf of the Secretary-General Periodicity: Biennial (every two years) star.ng with the Twelfh Inquiry (2018) Content of the TwelUh Inquiry: Module I on popula.on ageing and urbaniza.on Module II on fer.lity, family planning and reproduc.ve health Module III on interna.onal migra.on. In addition, over twenty countries provided feedback on the proposed methodology.
