The 65 th AD The New 65 TH AD: Voter Registration: DEM 36%/ REP 35% Anaheim (37% DEM/ 36% REP) Buena Park (38% DEM/ 33% REP) Cypress (33% DEM/ 39% REP) Fullerton (32% DEM/ 38% REP) Hawaiian Gardens (LA County) Stanton (40% Dem/32% REP) Cities that were formally part of Norby s District: La Habra (37% DEM/ 36% REP) Placentia(20% DEM/44% REP) Yorba Linda (21% DEM/55% REP)

OCLF in No on Prop 32 We had 60 predictive dialers making phone calls everyday during the last month of the election. We contacted over 300,000 union member voters through out the duration of the campaign. We contacted voters on Prop 32, Prop 30 and Prop 39 We had a total of 5,239 volunteer shifts for the whole campaign contacting voters. 55 of the OCLF priority precincts belong to the cities in the 65 th AD. Silva won 33 out of the 55 priority precincts. Silva won 61% of the precincts that OCLF used as a priority through out the election and GOTV.

Fullerton Sharon won the city of Fullerton with 22,740 votes compared to the 22,476 votes cast for Norby. Silva won 46 precincts in Fullerton out of a total of 89. In the precincts Silva won, she won on average by 59.4% of the votes.» The precincts Silva won also had a higher union density, averaging 20 registered union members per precinct. Norby won 43 precincts with 36.7 % of the votes.» In the precincts that Norby won, there was an average of only 5 registered union members in that specific precinct.

Anaheim Sharon won the city of Anaheim with 16,589 votes compared to Norby s 12,916 votes. Anaheim had a similar trend to the one in Fullerton If a precinct had more than 30 registered union members Sharon won that precinct. Silva won 56 out of the total 67 precincts. Silva won these precincts with 76% of the votes. Norby only won 11 precincts with 22% of the votes. When we compare Sharon s votes to the votes Al Jabbar and John Leos received in the same precincts, there is no trend.

Election Results in Anaheim November Obama Romney Sharon Quirck- Silva Chris Norby No on Prop 32 Yes on Prop 32 Al Jabbar John Leos * The rest of the votes are from the Anaheim portion of the 65 th AD. *Votes for John Leos represent only the votes received in the Anaheim City School District part of the 65 TH AD.

The Latino Vote There was a higher Latino turnout because of the Presidential election. Orange County Registrar of voters, the breakdown of the citizen-voting age population 23% of the voters are now Latino. As of October 22, 2012, 36.5% of the voters were registered Democrats and 35.9% are Republican in the district. This is a giant leap from the 2010 election between Chris Norby (R) who won by 61% of the vote and opponent Esiquio Ramos Uballe (D) who only received 33% of the total vote. They turned out in higher numbers to vote for President Obama.

65 th AD Voters November 6, ,000 74,000 72,000 70,000 68,000 66,000 64,000 62,000 60,000 58,000 Obama Romney No on Prop 32 Yes On Prop 32 Sharon Quirk-Silva Chris Norby
