Bhairupa PM Phul A case FIR No.2 dated u/s 353, 186, 341, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC, 61/1/14 Excise Act PS Phul was got registered on the statement of Sh.Pawan Garg, Excise & Taxation ner, Bathinda that on , a party of Excise and Taxation Deptt. raided Bhai Rupa i.c.w illicit liquor. The said accused stopped their vehicle and scuffled with the team and caused interruption in their duty. They also took three bottles of liquor which the team had recovered. No arrest made. 2. Bathinda 90 - Rampura Vill. Alike PM Phul The case FIR No.4 dated u/s 341, 171F, 506 IPC PS Phul was got registered on the letter from Returning Officer Rampura AC that the complainant is working as a helper in Anganwadi Deptt. When they were conducting a health deptt. survey in vill. Alike and when they reached Shingara Singh's house, the accused stopped her and her colleague and said them to cast votes to his party and threatened them and made other allegations. Hamirgarh Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} A case FIR No.7 dated u/s 3 The Punjab Prevention of Defacement of Property Act 1997 PS Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} was got registered on the statement of the complainant Sh.Harcharan Dass Goyal Addl. Supdt. Engn. PSPCL Bhagta Bhaika that Amarjit Sharma independent candidate had pasted his poster on PSPCL Pillar Box No.2 situated near Balmik Mandir at vill. Hamirgarh. He has appealed voters to cast their votes for him in the poster. No arrest made. 4. Bathinda 90 - Rampura Mehraj Patti Soul City Rampura A case FIR No.4 dated u/s 3 The Punjab Prevention of Defacement of Property Act 1997 PS City Rampura was got registered on the statement of the complainant Arvind Kumar Asstt. Returning Officer Rampura Phul AC that some unknown person had drawn BSP party symbol Elephant on the boundary walls of Co-operative Society, Mehraj Patti Soul, which

A case FIR No.6 dated u/s 365 IPC PS Sadar Rampura (increase in offence 379, 323, 34 IPC) was got registered on the statement of the complainant Jagrup Singh Panch s/o Teja Singh Panch r/o Vill. Rampura that when he and Yadvinder Singh Ex Sarpanch were coming to village from Congress Office, Yadvinder Singh said that he will come back after refuelling hired cars. After that the complainant and his colleagues waited for him for 1-1½ hours but he did not come back. Then they all went to Congress office and dialled Yadvinder Singh's No repeatedly, but his phone was switched off. Later when his phone got connected Yadvinder Singh was weeping and he told them in suppressed tone that he has been kidnapped. His phone again went unreachable. No arrest made. A case FIR No.7 dated u/s 188 IPC PS Maur was got registered on the statement of the complainant ASI Gurmail Singh that 13 boxes desi liquor, 2 boxes english liquor were recovered from accused in car Innova No.PB-11-AB-9081, which was violation of code of conduct. Accused arrested on bail. 7. Bathinda 94 - Talwandi Sabo Raman Mandi Raman A case FIR No.16 dated u/s 171F, 188 IPC PS Raman was got registered when Santosh Gupta I/C Flying Squad 94 - Talwandi Sabo AC nabbed the accused when they were distributing money. Rs.17,000/- were recovered from them. Accused arrested on bail. 8. Bathinda 94 - Talwandi Sabo - Talwandi Sabo A case FIR No.12 dated u/s 365, 34 IPC PS Talwandi Sabo was got registered on the statement of Gurpreet Singh that he was helping SAD and the other party was helping Congress. When the complainant and his brother were inspiring people regarding votes, the accused abducted them in car. 9. Bathinda 91 - Bhucho Goniana Mandi PM Nehianwala A case FIR No.9 dated u/s 171E, 34 IPC PS Nehianwala was got registered on the statement of Ramesh Mantu s/o Bidhan Dayal r/o Ward No.7 Goniana Mandi that the accused were buying-selling votes. When he stopped them they gave him beatings. 10. Bathinda 93 - Bathinda Rural Gill Patti Sadar Bathinda A case FIR No.2 dated u/s 188 IPC, Section 3 of Prevention of Defacement to Property Act PS Sadar Bathinda was registered on letter No.462/Complaint/Elections dated from Returning Officer Bhucho Mandi that the accused had pasted their posters on water tank near Bus Stand vill. Gill Patti. No arrest made.

Accused arrested on bail. 12. Bathinda 92 - Bathinda Urban Paras Ram AM Canal Colony A case FIR No.18 dated u/s 171F IPC PS Canal Colony that when HC Manjit Singh with his party was present on Multania Pul on patrolling, he got an information from some source that at Polling Station 68, Booth No. 168,169,170 & 175 at Shahid Sandeep Singh Govt. Sn. Sec. School near Paras Ram, a person who is carrying a model of Voting Machine is inspiring people to cast their votes to some particular party. 14. Bathinda 90 - Rampura Vill. Dayalpura Bhaika PM Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} A case FIR No.4 dated u/s 307, 382, 341, 506, 148, 149, 427 IPC, 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} was got registered on the statement of the complainant Sh.Sukhdev Singh Sarpanch s/o Dalip Singh r/o Dayalpura Bhaika that few Congress workers had joined Akali Dal party in vill. Dayalpura. In this connection, Gurpreet Singh Maluka, Chattar Singh Ex Sarpanch Dayalpura Bhaika, Darshan Singh s/o Gurditt Singh had come to the house of Ajaib Singh s/o Mukand Singh r/o Dayalpura Bhaika to present 'Siropas' to these new members. When they were going back, on the inspiration of Gurpreet Singh Kangar, the accused stopped them on link road and threw stoned on their vehicles and caused damage to their vehicles. They snatched gold chain of Harmeet Singh s/o Gamdur Singh and mobile phone of Gurpreet Singh Maluka. They also threatened them and shot fires before leaving. No arrest made. A case FIR No.5 dated u/s 336, 148, 149, 427 IPC, 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS Dayalpura {Camp at Bhagta} was got registered on the statement of the complainant Sukhpal Singh Panch s/o Surjit Singh r/o Dayalpura Bhaika that the accused involved in this FIR were distributing money to people in vill. Dayalpura to buy votes. When Congress workers objected to this, Sikander Singh Maluka alongwith persons came to the spot, who shot fire. No arrest made. 16. Bathinda 94 - Talwandi Sabo - Raman A case FIR No.15 dated u/s 171H, 188 IPC PS Raman was got registered on the complaint from Sandeep Kumar I/C Static Surveillance Team Talwandi Sabo that Sukhdev Singh Chahal etc. were travelling with 16 vehicles without permission which was violation of code of conduct.

No. PB10BN8264 in which 4000 pamphlets printed by Tarun printing press bearing the photographs of Sh. Anil Joshi candidate from Amritsar North Constituency, Sh. Parkash Singh Babal CM Punjab, Sh. Atal Bihari Vijaypee and Sh. Navjot Singh Sidhu were carrying from Tarun Press Ludhiana to Amritsar. The said vehicle was stopped by Naaka party near Bridge Beas river. The Vehicle was stopped by the Naaka Party and both the persons arrested at the spot from the vehicle 4000 pamphlet recovered.

Manjinder Singh Aulakh Election Agent of Sh. Amarpal Singh Boni Candidate of SAD from Ajnala Constituency made complaint to the RO that Sh. Harpartap Singh Ajnala Candidate of INC used loud speaker without permission at village Thoba and Hashmpura on 13/01/2012 to 14/01/2012. Enquiry in this connection was conducted by BDPO Ajnala. Notice was issued to Sh. Harpartap Singh Ajnala, who give reply but the same was not found satisfactory. So RO directed SHO PS Ajnala to register the case regarding violation of MCC at village Hashmpura. Harpartap Singh Ajnala Candidate of INC used loud speaker without permission at village Thoba and Hashmpura on 13/01/2012 to 14/01/2012. Enquiry in this connection was conducted by BDPO Ajnala. Notice was issued to Sh. Harpartap Singh Ajnala, who give reply but the same was not found satisfactory. So RO directed SHO PS Ajnala to register the case regarding violation of MCC at village Thoba. Act, 127A ROP Act 1950, 171E, 171F IPC PS Majitha Case registered on the written complaint of Sukhjinder Raj Singh Independent Candidate from 013- Majitha that Sh. Bikram Singh Majithia SAD Candidate from Majitha Constituency distributing Liquor among the voters for taking their votes. Complainant handed over to police One three wheeler bearing No PB-02K 9430 which was used for canvassing by SAD candidate. 7 cases bagpiper wine recovered from nearby the cremation ground of Majitha, 41 cases of Bagpiper wine was also recovered as such total 48 cases of Bagpiper wine was recovered.
