A Women s Rights Committee delegation will travel to Athens to look into the situation of refugee women and girls, the anti-trafficking responses and the existing assistance infrastructure for victims. 2 Monday 31/10/2016 DELEGATIONS DEVE Delegation to Lebanon 31 October-2 November 2016 Lebanon Four Members of the EP's Development Committee will visit Lebanon next week to see on the ground the barriers to education for young Syrian refugees and Lebanese children. MEPs will visit schools, community centres, meet children, parents, local and international NGOs, donors and Lebanese officials. Lebanon has done more than almost any other country to support Syrian refugees. Members of the delegation are committee chair Linda McAvan (S&D, UK), Norbert Neuser (S&D, DE), Judith Sargentini (Greens/EFA, NL) and Ignazio Corrao (EFDD, Italy). Monday to Wednesday DMAS Working group to Egypt 30 October - 3 November 2016 Egypt Six Members of the EP delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries will hold a working group on migration to Egypt. MEPs will meet with migration experts, representatives of think tanks, human rights NGOs, as well as with their counterparts of the Egyptian Parliament and representatives of the government. They will also see on the ground some EU-funded project related to migration. They will also make on the spot visits to the Command Center for Combating Illegal Fishing, the Port-in Port-out control centre in Samutsakorn, a seafood-processing factory and a shelter for migrant workers run by the ministry of social development.
