These newspapers have come together with Texas Press Association to help bring advertisers a simple, inexpensive opportunity to reach over 2.4 million readers with just one ad placement. WHAT TYPES OF NEWSPAPERS WILL MY AD APPEAR? Approximately 90 percent of newspapers participating in TexSCAN are weekly newspapers, covering areas from El Paso to Houston, from Dallas to Brownsville and everywhere in between. WHAT ARE THE TEXSCAN REGIONS? For the purposes of TexSCAN, we have divided Texas into three regions to target advertisers audience directly. The North Region includes areas from Waco to Dallas and east to Carthage and Longview. South Region includes Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi and Beaumont.
