4 TRD Proclamation I, GREG ABBOTT, Governor of the State of Texas, do hereby certify that the severe weather flooding event that began on June 19, 2018, that continues, has caused widespread severe property damage, threatens loss of life, in Aransas, Cameron, Hidalgo, Nueces, San Patricio Willacy counties. THEREFORE, in accordance with the authority vested in me by Section of the Texas Government Code, I do hereby declare a state of disaster in the previously listed counties. City of Austin, Texas, this the 21st day of June, TRD Proclamation WHEREAS, GREG ABBOTT, Governor of the State of Texas, issued a disaster proclamation on June 21, 2018, certifying that the severe weather flooding event that began on June 19, 2018, has caused widespread severe property damage, threatens loss of life, in Aransas, Cameron, Hidalgo, Nueces, San Patricio, Willacy counties. Those same conditions continue to exist in these other counties in Texas. THEREFORE, in accordance with the authority vested in me as Acting Governor by Section of the Texas Government Code, I do hereby amend the aforementioned proclamation declare a disaster in these additional counties: Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Starr.
