2 About The Symposium Georgetown Law, along with platinum sponsor Howrey LLP and sponsors Compass Lexecon and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, is proud to present its 2009 Annual Global Antitrust Enforcement Symposium. The faculty includes leading former and current enforcement officials from the United States, Europe, Brazil, Canada, Australia and China. This symposium is a leading forum for lawyers, policymakers, corporate executives and academics to address current issues in competition law and policy. The faculty will focus on the areas of greatest concern to multinational enterprises: new merger enforcement attitudes in a time of economic challenge; how economic thinking will affect single firm conduct enforcement; the latest developments in cartel investigations and prosecutions; and global agencies, convergence and recession. september 22, 2009 VENUE The symposium will be held in the Hart Auditorium at The Georgetown University Law Center located near Union Station and Capitol Hill at 600 New Jersey Avenue NW, Washington DC. The Law Center can be accessed directly from Metro s Union Station (Red Line) or Judiciary Square Station (Red Line). Parking is very limited around the Law Center. There is a parking garage across the street at 601 New Jersey Avenue NW; the cost is $13 per day. Please enter the building at the 2 nd Street entrance to McDonough Hall.
