1 2015 Legislative, Executive and Judicial Developments All Legal Professionals LIVE LIVE WEBCAST Friday, November 6, 2015 NC Bar Center, Cary CLE CREDIT: 6.0 Hours Planned by the NCBA Administrative Law Section, Government & Public Sector Section and the Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Section Program Summary and Highlights Come, Watson, come! he cried. The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come! Sherlock Holmes in The Adventure of The Abbey Grange. Holmes also said, Nothing clears up a case so much as stating it to another person. Silver Blaze. Join us as the mystery of the 2015 long session of the General Assembly is unraveled. This joint CLE program between the Administrative Law, Government & Public Sector and Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Sections states the case in the for, against, who knows? and what does it mean? categories regarding legislative changes. Join us for a review and analysis of constitutional challenges to recently enacted state laws, state legislative changes to local government functions, changes and challenges for the judiciary and our system of justice, governmental reorganization, and more. Learn about key reforms and changes in the 2015 Legislative Session through a program specifically tailored to government, public sector, administrative law practitioners and attorneys whose practices are affected by legislative changes. Discover the unique and valuable perspective of speakers who were in the trenches during the 2015 Legislative Session as legislators evaluated and decided upon these changes. Learn from officials who will be responsible for implementing recently enacted laws as well as practitioners and scholars who are examining the legal and practical ramifications. Hear how recent legislative changes will impact you and your clients.
